Hey, Great video! I'm an electronics and communication engineer myself, and I think, no matter the work you do (Engineering, or law)... there is always a balance between personal productivity, team building, social interactions, general productivity. And I really look up to you guys and how you balance all of it! Kudos! :)
Great Video! I am an Italian Management Engineer and I was waiting for a video like this for a long time. Not expected from you but luckily I already was a follower. Thank you!
Liam, was just part of the Clifford Chance work experience today. Pleasant surprise to have you present a segment. You're honestly motivating, thanks. 🤣🤣
Very interesting insights. From my perspective, it seems like this salary for engineers is pretty low in the UK. In Germany, for example, they start around €60-65k in big companies.
@@Allwin-lz6yji did 1 year of automotive engineering and switched to finance, still don’t know what to do with my life, if I should return or stay in my current path, why did you quit? Any advice?
How do you schedule your videos to cover time zones? What I mean: where you film when you are at your best AND it will show, no matter the time anywhere.
The reason for this question; Bermuda has time zones, West and East Bermuda ( or the Bermuda Triangle, 😏). Britain set it up this way, I'm still not use to it. and it will take time.
Thank you for the insight, it was very helpful!! I am very excited about studying aerospace/mechanical engineering in Europe countries and currently comparing the universities. I would love to get a job in the space or aviation sector, but as an international student I am aware that large tech companies might prefer citizens. Could you (or anyone that has relevant information) give some explanation and details if that is really so and how is the field of engineering for international students? I do know that it's huge, competitive, and challenging, but still I don't feel like I am aware enough about the competition and what type of job I might end up doing. If anyone could explain this to me, talk about their experience, university, and what type of work they do.. I would be very grateful!! Thank you in advance ;)
We r doing a practice case for an online internship about you being an influencer for a business we are taking over 😂 Edit: I now realise u were a part of it I was so hyped when u came up😂
Do lawyers actually earn more than engineers? There was no mention of how much a lawyer makes as reference to an engineer in the video. I would really like to know.
In the UK, generally, yes - work-life balance is likely to be worse than an engineer, but after 3 years, an engineer probably expects to earn £35,000-£60,000 and a lawyer £50,000-£140,000
Why is there a picture of Elon Musk about the day in the life on engineers? He pays people to let him say he's one then scribbles on lunch napkins, he's an embarrassment.

Thank you Pranav, and thanks for sharing that - 100% agreed that balance can be tough no matter what you’re doing for work! 😊🤗

Amazing! Thank you so much and glad you enjoyed the session 🤗
I love the different prospective you brought into this video from what you do on a day to day basis
Thank you Demetri!!

Thank you! Yep - I think it is probably a little lower than much of the world, at least at the very start of your career, but also better hours 😝
@@themintandbeanI think most ppl would prefer to live in Stuttgart than in Coventry 😂
Engineer here, got 2 years of experience and left to attend law school haha
I’m in the same boat lol did 1 year of engineering planning to switch to law this year

Hi Liam, does it matter what law school you graduate from to be employable?
