Arnor should have been a faction! and I really loved this campaign I learned alot about Arnor!

It would have been great if they weren't just a reskin of the Gondor units. There are mods that flesh them out as a faction apart from Gondor, thankfully.

It's weird, I always play the evil campaign because the bad guys just seem cooler. But in this game, seeing that Evil canonically annihilated Arnor. I just feel guilty to play the winning side.

Its because the campaign never let you "truly" unleash Angmar's power like you can in a non rush skirmish game. Fortress after fortress, upgrades and resources and a huge army lol. I thought the Sorcerers were disapointing and the Witch King in this game should have been like an ultra powerful version of the sorcerer with avalange and corpse rain :)
I liked Morogmir, but I always hated Sauron as the ring hero for Angmar...cos i like the Witch King more :)

In my opinion Sauron is easily the coolest badguy in the whole lore. Not as powerful as his boss Melkor, but still he has that whispering voice of pure evil and a nine foot tall visage of black armour. Not to mention he's a Maiar; the Witch King, as a mortal man, couldn't handle a lesser ring of power, so I reckon he isn't up to carrying any of Saurons' bling :)

Melkor was literally a eldritch horror made of fire and ice when he descended on middle earth and his attacks created craters so deep that lava came out, Mordor is literally the consequence of one of his battles.

@jaspertheking4life You are very confused about the timeline. The wizards arrived around 2000 years before the start of the books, what you are mentioning was only 90 years before the Hobbit, also 1. the dwarven king in question was Thorin's father. 2. Gandalf was going there only to verify 'The Necromancer' was in fact Sauron. He left Thrain there and had not expected to find him in the first place. And finally the fall of Arnor was about 1,000 years after they arrived.

Well on a show dont tell level the witch king is more of an intimidating and cooler villian, ya sauron is pretty much satan mixed with the god mode cheat, but ya he was a Maiar. but i guess its which ever one you prefer, and just going by the RoTK movie the witch king, for what little they showed us of his power and capabilities, was a fucking badass

i hated this game i didnt like rise of the witch king out of all my favorites it has to be battle for middle earth 1 because it follows the storyline of the fellowship but battle for middle earth was good as well but i didnt like rise of the witch king
