Amps are what can severely hurt someone. Most stun guns have around 5-10 milliamps and it typically takes about 100 milliamps to kill a person

Context to the misleading title: Maple wasn't staking out the hospital. During the chase, he fell over and injured himself and went to the hospital with McNulty (who was waiting outside) to get patched up. As to how he figured it was the suspects involved in the chase at the hospital is because Maple managed to tag Taco's plate. Not only did he tag Taco's plate number, but Taco also talked to McNulty when he and the bois got pitted. When Ramee and Taco came into the hospital, he was talking really loud for everyone to hear along with Taco at the end. Didn't help that Ramee took no time to change clothes and car before coming to the hospital.

Edit: And it's hilarious that you're saying Taco and Ramee were yelling when Ramee was saying Minnesota in an Indian accent and Taco wasn't yelling at all (check his VOD).
