    • @TheJ_G
      @TheJ_G หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@adnan_velic If you need very very good AF, the FX3 does the job. The A1 does it even better.
      Honestly, I picked up the FX3 when it first came out, and before all the hype around “The Creator” using it, it was not a celebrated camera. People were really sour on it, equating it to just a superficially rehoused a7S3; which it mostly is, but that was a problem for a lot of people back then. And since I work a lot as a contractor, I couldn’t get any producers to agree to rent it in my packages. They were only interested in an FX6 or FX9 if I offered to package one of the new Sony cinema cameras, which were hard to come by the first couple years they released - especially the FX6. The FX3 was regularly in stock though ha.
      So eventually I sold it off because it was getting left at home at lot. I also picked up the XH2s when it launched to try and see if it could keep up professionally (being a long time user of Fuji for my personal cameras) and I found that it was very close to what the Sony A1 and FX3 was offering in a single hybrid camera, and I could really expand my kit with the price difference if I moved to the XH2/XH2s and even have some money left over. Haven’t looked back since. Really if Fuji figured out how to make one camera out of the XH2S/XH2, they’d basically have a true Sony A1 competitor.
      I eventually added an FX6 to my kit when they became more available because everyone’s happy to have an FX6 on a job, but for my mirrorless hybrid setups, the XH2/XH2s has been able to handle anything I’ve throw at them. And no overheating (yet) in the Texas heat - but I do use the fan.
      If I didn’t have the FX6 and the amazing internal ND’s, I’d considered maybe having an FX3 in the kit because it’s become a lot more popular, recognized, and accepted on professional jobs, but I think there’d be too much overlap with the XH2s to make it worth the trouble IMO. The FX6, for me, offered something more substantial than just another mirrorless hybrid setup.

    I used the XH2s for almost 2 years and it started out great. In daylight, great camera. But it, nor any other APSC camera, can touch full frame in low light situations. Aside from cheaper lenses and film sims, I would have a hard time buying back into the Fuji system until they fix AF with better chips. The Nikon Z6III, for the same price, blows the XH2s away. And they have cheaper, awesome 3rd party lenses that compete with the Fuji priced lenses. Seems like Fuji wants to be like Leica one day, and the next day not so much. That camera would be a good buy at around $1800 USD new. Canon prices are way too high and Sony cripples their cameras when you use 3rd party lenses. You left Nikon out of the comparisons, but they are a great alternative when you start comparing pricing vs performance. But, if you're happy with Fuji, stick with it. I miss the film sims, but I do not miss the AF issues or low light performance. I fell for the Fuji "it's just as good as full frame" and found out it wasn't true shooting sports, weddings and motorsports in low light conditions. I still got some great shots in good lighting though.

      @@JET-Photo I made an entire video talking only about Nikon and how great they are. Now I don’t know if you’re talking about photography or videography here but I’m a videographer and when we are talking about pure image quality the xh2s is hard to beat and has much more dynamic range than the z6iii. As far as low light a lot of my work is in super low lit restaurants and I have not had an issue. Sure a full frame camera can go up to 51,200 ISO but what’s the use is the image is a noisy and discolored mess? That’s like saying yeah my car can go to 200mph but the tires blow up at 170 lol! I don’t know about that Leica thing honestly. Fuji has always been Fuji in my eyes. Leicas are nice but they are photography based where as Fuji is moving a lot of their higher end cameras into hybrid/video purpose tools. Anyway I own other cameras as well which are full frame and I’ll make a video about that comparing my xh2s to a video focused full frame very soon.

    • @JET-Photo
      @JET-Photo หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @ Fuji applies in camera noise reduction like Canon does, that’s why the dynamic range is as high as it is. Nikon does not. If you apply noise reduction in post to the Z6III files the DR is very close. See Gerald Undone’s Z6III tests. Also FLog2 has a base iso of 1250 correct? Nikons is 800. The XH2s is a good video camera, except AF. While the video specs may be closer, there’s no comparison in photography. The “bad” dynamic range of the Z6III are exaggerated. Nobody shoots the way that Northrop and co tested it.

    • @JET-Photo

    • @adnan_velic
      @adnan_velic  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@JET-Photo no this is not true the noise reduction has nothing to do with the DR results. You can turn down the noise reduction to -4 as you know in the xh2s the reason the xh2s has more dynamic range about 1.5-2 stops over the z6iii is because it has a 14bit readout up to 6k 30fps. This is a cinema camera level feature and the Nikon cannot do this and does not have that that’s why the DR at SNR 2 is like 11.5 the absolute worst in its class so this is totally not something made up its real.
