- Episode Synopsis:
Andre is off punishment and decides to hook up with Nicole for the High Life party, which is being held at the Omajjah, where Bobby & Joan works at. Andre also continues to have difficulties to express his true feelings towards Nicole and writes it down on paper. Joan tells Sweets she's suspicious and worried about Andre and Sweets convinces Joan to look through Andre's room to confirm if he's up to something. Joan & Sweets finds a letter Andre has been writing down, expressing his feelings towards Nicole.

There are so many routes and ideas this show could've taken that couldve made it last about 4 season AT LEAST! Andrew finding a new love interest for another season and someway somehow find his way back to Nicole. because I do believe he liked her he just didnt know how to Express it. You know young boys..... or even Andre not exactly getting into the gang life but him still plotting to get back at the dude that killed his brothern. They could've showed more of Tasha and her starting high school. Having a crush on a boy. She could've been going to parties, etc.
Something couldve happened to Deion (whether hospitalization or whatever) to humble the mom so she can see that she was not being a true mother to tha child. Or even someone telling her straight to her face how she always neglects her duties when it comes to him. I feel like there is just so much that couldve been of this show and it was so less😔💯

I understand that she may not have been attracted to Ray and wanted to keep it professional since that was her son’s mentor. However, she could have just been honest with him and never allowed him to do too much extra stuff for her. Ray knew that she wasn’t interested in him as more than just a family friend, so he needed to cut his losses and move on.

They had all the episodes on TH-cam a few years ago, but youtube deleted it due to copyright infringement. A few years ago, somebody under the name Andrew Thomas reuploaded South Central episodes and another used named Dominic Walters had some South Central episodes.

+My Childhood TV, this is not the "Gun, part 2" episode. This is the "Date" episode.
When I was little, I didn’t realize how much of a bird the mom on this show was. She adopted a crack baby that she barely took care of for a check. And she went on a date with her son’s mentor only for her to let another man feed her in front of him. She was on bottom feeder time for real 🥴

The mother was wrong for agreeing to stay at the restaurant with Ray and eat off another man's plate on her date. He didn't deserve to be treated that way.
Well, the thing is, it was not a date. She made it rather obvious to him that she was not interested in him. I agree that it was not good for her to pay so much attention to Isaiah since she originally came with Ray. As much as he insisted on treating her to dinner, she should have just politely but firmly declined. On a positive note for Ray, at least he didn’t have to cover the check.
Im 41 i watched this show back in the day.. you notice how the mom kept kids away from the dad for personal reasons.. the daughter loved her dad and the boy hated his father.. and she kicked the father out because he was chasing a dream.. now we in 2024 tell me life is not a circle... This show has more elements that proves life is a rerun

Meh, I Ray knew deep down that Joan was not interested in him romantically, but he kept trying to leave the door open. They weren’t out on a date, and he basically gave her the autonomy to decide to eat with Isaiah. He should have just given up at that point, left the restaurant and let her stay there with Isaiah. Isaiah would have likely been okay with driving her to get Tasha, so he would not have had to feel bad about her safety. Then, he should have officially stopped chasing her and kept the relationship professional going forward. Ray seems like the type that needs very direct communication, so she should have just been full-on but tactfully honest. Better than leaving a gray area.

Probably because she couldn’t really be a teenager or a child before that. Most tasks concerning Deon were given to her on top of just normal chores. Then, she missed seeing her dad since he only came once every two years and changed his location a lot after the divorce. Then, she had a friend who was being rude and only using her to flirt with Andre. She was a good student, stayed out of trouble and basically did what her mother asked of her, but she probably felt that she got the raw end of the stick.
