- Hi! As the game is finally officially available, I've decided to share my own experience from the game from beginning to End.
I did absolutely everything from the game, recorded all the important stuff. If you don't want to get spoiled althought it's from a game that already existed, don't go on the internet.
I hope you appreciate my videos content, not an easy task to do but I'm here now.
Sorry for reposting this one.

Ikr, I honestly don't know how people can look at these and think this game is soulless.
And the female swimmer kissing the ball is adorable also. Like the love they both show for the mon is great.

This is probably the most underrated aspect of these games. They gave EVERYONE super interesting and cool battle animations, even the generic trainers. Rancher Female and Breeder Female are some real personal highlights
Male and female swimmers, the PI, all so unique I can’t even deal
I love the way they throw their Pokeballs. It's very smooth
I like how the copied every single pose almost identically from the original games except the ones from the Team Galactic grunts. I think they realized how those raised arms would’ve looked like…
I love how Saturn just causally throws his Poké Ball in a annoyed way.

with a few exceptions, almost all male trainers throw the ball from high to low, and female trainer from low to high

Similar to how in baseball you throw overhanded pitches and softball you use underhanded pitches
Reminds how in SwSh (before dlc) only the young man characters threw the Dynamax ball with one hand because it's quite heavy
True! but It depends more on the personality than the gender. Higher requires more dynamic movement so it comes off as energetic and lively, while low looks more smooth, graceful and refined. That's why all the kid independently of their gender throw them up, and npcs like the climbers throw them low
The fact that the Kirby NPC sent out a cleffa is awesome

Too bad you can’t battle the waiters too often, I think we should’ve battled them in the lake valor 7 star hotel restaurant.
This is gonna sound really stupid, but I really like how they added some left-handed trainers as well. Just kinda adds to the immersion for me, seeing not everyone in the game is right-handed. Hell, Dawn and Lucas being left-handed is also cool to me :D

Sinnoh is Japan’s top favorite generation, their favorite games are Diamond and Pearl.

The way the smooth editing is, it looks like the trainers are sending out each other into battle XD
This brings me a lot of joy. Also, holy shit the Aroma Lady is adorable. Cowgirl too.
Of course you lingered on the roughneck with Cleffa. That guy ALWAYS sticks out to me.
His name is Kirby
They nailed the battle scene. The surroundings look so good and the models have a lot of personality. The collector trainers don't look nearly as insane as they did in the sprite. Also you gotta love how the bikers just store their bikes without a bag.
I just wish they made the environment more lively like they did in the 3DS era 😩
Cynthia's introduction animation at 12:06 shows how much of a queen she is! 👑

I think ILCA did trainer models and animation much better than Game Freak. They're much more proportional and realistic, even compared with Legends Arceus.

What are you talking about my guy, compared to swsh a lot (not all) are stiff as all hell (Lucian and Byron hello). SwSh has much more fluid, standout animations when it comes to trainers
Even the many copy pasted ones copy pasted from swsh are stiffer than the original

Say what you will about this game, at least the trainer classes here are far better than what we got in SV.
This is my first time seeing the swimmers from Sinnoh. Third place. Right before Unova and ORAS.
I love how Pokémon Master, a mobile game! has more life in the trainers intro animations than this

Like I said last time this was uploaded, those sprite pose recreations really look awkward with the 3D models imo. Them then just transitioning rather abruptly into generic ball throws doesn't really help either.
Im sure the game is fine btw, not intending to throw blind hate.
It's just that ever since trailer one released I thought the visuals looked awkward/generic and unfortunately for me personally that hasn't changed :/
agreed, I feel like platinum had stronger transitions in the gym leaders and especially the elite four.

I have played the original games and when I saw the second trailer (the one in which we saw battle against trainers) I was very excited of these animations. The poses of trainers at the battle (when you see the amount of pokemon they have) is just the same of the original and that is great for me. Then the animations are so smooth and their faces and bodies even so expressive. Definitely a good job
@@user-tt8um8xn4q I can agree in concept but for me the execution falls flat, idk, maybe I'm just more critical? The sprite poses recreated with 3D models just don't really work to me, they look kinda stiff and awkward, like theyre lacking energy. As if they just decided to hold a silly pose rather than being caught mid movement I guess.
I just think those static poses worked a lot better in 2D. as for the 3D models I personally can't help but be distracted by some of them. the regular female ace trainer especially (and most trainers that jut their hips out for a moment it just really stands out on her) looks really weird to me with the way the bodies look in general. in battle model Cyrus' face also looks really strange to me, kinda soft and undefined, and my poor guy Saturn is a literal stick figure with how those too thin arms/shoulders come out of his torso. (theyve alwags been skinny but it looks kinda ridiculous here imo.)
that and the things I mentioned earlier just kinda killed any excitement for the battle start trainer visuals on my end. I can respect what they were going for 100% But I just don't feel like it ended up working out very well.
