- It's official. Effective in 2 years, there will be no more DJI drones used at the federal level. Meaning by 2025 there could be big implications for the drone community. Could this ban extend to consumers?..
Here is DJI's Response to these allegations being made towards them (It's hard to find this link on Google, unless you search for the correct keywords. I wonder why that is? 🤔) :::

They're worried about anything that can be a potential weapon against them because they're up to no good.
🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯 anything that can feasibly carry a payload will be heavily regulated.
The committee chair described the war being waged on the citizens by Congress quite precisely: _"Pitting greedy and factional Americans (Congress) vs Americans (the citizens)."_
But its actually fighting the Asymmetrical Warfare waged on us by Russia China Iran and North Korea
Politicians just say that stuff so you think its about the voter's (usually irrelevant and uneccesary) wishes. Its ACTUALLY a National Security thing versus Foreign Powers
Congress obviously doesnt care about joyriding drones
@@TheLifeOfKane Congress is full of the most craven souls our country can produce, they are not on our side.
Where was your flight controller manufactured? I hope it wasn't China.
^ I disagree, it’s basically as much fighting a war by banning drones as much as it would banning RC cars and boats from China coming to the states. Or helium balloons 🤷🏻♂️ Anything capable of moving with a pay load .. I don’t believe they have or are able to create the technology to hack any random drone from anywhere (if that’s the direction you were leaning) and I’m sure if they hid software or equipment for that, Someone in the drone community would of called it out. Giving it the danger rating of a Child flying a kite bought from an enemy thousands of miles away
@@TheLifeOfKane of this was really a national security issue, the solution would be much less laughable.
If you want my Mini 3 Pro, you'll have to take it from my cold, dead hand.
That's a real possibility. If a cop see you piloting some of those, they may have to shot you if you dont surrender it.
The solution to all of this seems pretty simple. An American company needs to design drones at the same price point with the features and reliability that DJI drones have. When that happens, I'll switch in a heartbeat. I'm waiting....
Man, after all these years I'm thinking about buying a DJI drone. I'm wondering if i should wait...
Thanks for the video!
The time is now. They will make the 2024 drones with limitations while the older drones dont have that. Buy one now, or wait until its too late
Sounds like an opportunity for American companies to fill the gap... get cracking!
Thats a good thought. They jsut need to deregulate all energy production, the EPA and all other red tape that the same politicians making this new rules enacted over the past 50 years. .
This forced all manufacturing into China because of the trade agreements that they did at the same time.
Nah, they'll make em as limited as the average gen Z brain capacity. And thats LIMITED
Damnn, what will it matter if you can’t use or buy DJI drones legally if you can barley fly legally anymore ?! I’m speechless. Free country my ass
I hope the fad of playing obnoxious background music while someone is trying to explain something will end soon. It is completely unnecessary, distracting, and made this video unwatchable for me.
So what kind of drones are goos to use not made from China, Russia, or any of the ones they don't approve?
All drones doing the work at sports events and at hollywood movies are all DJI. Most working drones also in the U.S. are also DJI. Just please if you ban make sure you compensate or replace with American made drones. No problem!
That’s where the concern lies. American made drones are way behind compared to DJI’s latest technologies, and I don’t think they’ll be able to catch up. Also maybe it’s possible DJI could make the parts and assemble in the US?
DJI drones are assembled overseas, they use American Tech, its a matter of using Slave Labor where its legal in China
This is one of many bills that FINALLY cut off Dictators from abusing Ethnic Slave Labor on an International Free Market
This may suck for us temporarily, but it helps evwrybody have safer drones that arent feeding their data straight to a foreign enemy nation. And it pushes the market into REAL drone innovation, rather than funding stolen tech and slave labor in Dictatorship-Bound Countries
Put your money where youre ethics can handle it, pretending the qorld doesnt exist doesnt stop child slaves and organ harvesting
Compensate?! 😆
Buy French ones
@@hansybarra Parrot makes some nice small drones....lots of options.I believe I can build a drone that does everything any dji drone does with sufficient resources and motivation..The sensors are available elsewhere.....software for gps location et...air frame and flight controller is the simple part...dji has done nothing but stifle innovation from the hobbyist with their Apple Co style business model
@@steve_beatty why hasn't anyone done it yet?
Thanks for the heads up. Right now the us made drones are too expensive and don’t have a payloads offered to dji drones. I would prove problematic to say the least.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
H.R. 2864 Countering CCP Drones Act . The bill is not outlawing drones. I believe the actual bill has to do with countering the CCP, Chinese Communist Party. Doesn't that seem to change the argument just a little bit? It's not so much DRONES, rather than specific companies such as DJI, because it is believed that DJI Drones are tied into the CCP? Just like Huawei 5G technology it is deemed to be a National Security threat. It sounds to me that you could be a CCP influencer.
I live in the US, and my intent with this video to raise awareness of this specific bill. HR 2864 is specifically for DJI industries and other Chinese made drones, and yes this will BAN all Chinese made consumer drones. I’m not sure where you’re getting your information, but if you’d like to watch the hearing that’s in my description it shows the entire hearing and what the subcommittee is alleging against DJI, not just the CCP
@@PurpleFinchPhotoSo basically, yes it's *all* drones. Tell me, where was _your_ flight controller made?
@@tehKap0wI own a DJI Mini 2. This will ground my drone as well, if passed.
We buy literally everything from China, even bought coof masks from them when they created the coof…but drones are the problem?
Fuck what they say fly your drone wherever you want. I do and noone messes with me
Yet... It's only a matter of time.
@@anon556 no its not.... its a matter of fun
Annoying for us, but absolutely necessary and WAY PASSED TIME for this bill, hopefully more to come.
Russia China Iran and North Korea are openly laughing at their espionage efforts via drones, took us years to formulate a response that wasnt sanction based
Lmaooo spionage via drones 😂😂😂😂
Yes, and the sad part is, no US drone manufacturers come close to making a comparable product! We wouldn't even have this problem if one of our drone makers would step up and make a good drone ecosystem damn it! OH, and charge a reasonable amount of money too I might add since we live in the US of price gouging and greed. now Im going to have to get my rotor riot cine whoop fixed and learn to fly FPV with no GPS stabilization again fuck.
greedy and factional!!?😮 us?? impossible
good thing I live in Az in a border town so I guess all my drone footage will be in Mexico at least im not all banned but this is sad and bad for drones and ppl like me who fly them
Hopefully it will be after the election and trump will put a stop to this dump shit anyways
They know the people can use them against the wef take over
idiocracy vs paranoid in hell Karen...
I guess it will not affect my drone or will it? I don't own a DJI drone.
It will be all Drones before long. Look at what they do to the 2a. Empowered citizens are the threat.
Imagine civilians filming epstein island being full of politicians, thats what they dont want us to see! Theyre all pedo's and dont want to get caught doing shit
they are doing the same thing they did to tiktok, I wonder if they will do the same to Apple
Apple is an American company but is produced in China. Also 99% of the US Government cell phones are Apple Iphones.
@@Hooligoon78 So then one could make the claim that the CCP has influence on all Chinese made products.
@@PurpleFinchPhotoHey, don't be mad at me because this will hurt your photo businesss. It is what it is.
Its not only china. All phones spy on us. All televisions, laptops, all electronic apperature listens to us.
Fly your little drone wherever you want for as long as you can, but removing Chinese hardware and encouraging US made hardware is best in the long run
You need to go back and read the bill kid.
No, I don't. Please do your research. viewpoints.dji.com/blog/get-the-facts-dji-in-the-united-states
This is some bullshit ! They will not pass the dumb bill
Poopdio
If it bans dji drones from the air I could not be happier...from the pov of a 40 year long rc flyer I have never seen a system that simply forgot how to play well with the other existing systems...good riddance I say 👍🏼
Ahh yes I love government regulation.
@@daveonezero6258 yeah..not a fan...but like I said....from my 40 year long pov they are an intrusive entity that has been a general pita to deal with in the field due to the lack of dji engineers ability to design a system compatible with the existing ecosystem...and right in the middle of the RID scheme.... I do not find it strange that all the argument I get from people saying that dji is a non issue comes from dji users and not non dji users.. 🥴🖖🏼
Thank you Skydio. You'll have total domination of the market.
