We start with the AG mag pouch and I immediately love what I see with the additional structure to the actual mag retention itself. With other mag retention, you often have issues where you have multiple other steps when reindexing due to the mag retention lanyards getting in the way.
The AG mag pouch by Agilite solves this wonderfully and the mag itself can be used to easily kick over the mag retention out of the way and then easily pop it all back up with one and to easily secure the mag. And the best part is that all of this can be done quickly and easily with just one hand.
Looking at the front of the AG mag pouch, we see it also includes three molle sections to fit pouches as large as five molle rows tall. Also on the front of the mag pouch is loop backed portion that you can connect in patches or markers. I also believe Agilite is working on some cool attachments that will use this area in the future!
Finally, the rear of the AG mag pouch also includes four reinforced tabs that are weaved into the molle to secure the AG pouch to your gear. It's great to see a product that includes all of the required items you need to connect it all up.
Looking at the pincer placard, we see three elastic mag pouches that have a large reinforced mag opening near the top. This is Agilite's fantastic solution to the elastic mag pouches that work so horribly.
I found I could get a great purchase on each of the mags and easily reindex magazines. The large mouth of the Pincer Placard makes mag retrieval and reindexing fast and effortless.
The front of the Pincer Placard also has two slits between the mags and they actually teased some prototype pouches that will connect into this in the future. I'm excited to see how the entire Pincer placard turns into an entire Agilite placard system.
Flipping the placard over, we see the attachment method used to connect the placard onto to the carrier. You can lift up and remove the adjustment straps to change out the connecting hardware or adjust the actual ride height of the placard itself on the carrier.
This is a welcome improvement as so many different carriers have wildly different ride heights of so many of the placard attachments.
Also included with the pincer placard is an entire set of ITW QASM buckles. These allow you to interface with a normal placard connection system if you prefer that style of placard connection. Overall, its great to see Agilite included both sets of hardware when we see so many companies not including any hardware at all.
The AG mag pouches and Pincer Placard make for an insane upgrade for anyone looking to take their K19...or any other plate carrier....away from that elastic mag pouch and bungee mess. Both of these products have an immediate impact on the speed and function of the user.

Got mine in the mail, having a couple issues.
1: doesnt fit well on old k19 carriers. Mine doesnt have the same verticle molle slots like yours.
2: i wish the attachment portion had been a bit more hybrid than what they gave us.
3: it doesnt like gen 3 pmags. There are a couple spots on the mag that get hung up when taking it out of the pouch. Maybe it just needs a sex machine to break it in but it is an issue.
I think im going to go back to the g-code mag pouches. Those hold well and i can switch to different caliber guns without the need of a placard.

Just purchased the Pincer Plauqard AND the fanny pack that attaches to the bottom of the placquard (forgive the misspelling). Great looking combo on the website, but if I'm not completely satisfied, I'll return the pack. However, after looking at the example pic, it shouldn't be an issue. Thanks Agilite for leading the way in these products 😊.

the pincer placard can have a tab for extra mag retention, I can only see the lack of molle on the front as a negative point but that would require that you have a lot of gear you just... need... to have it on your chest. Airsofter here and I simply love the design, if I did not use ak's I would rock it, good retention, no extra stuff, easy to pull, easy to insert, low profile, what is there not to love, but it is for a fast, light, low profile setup, not for "I have to be ready for anything" kinda mentality.

I had ordered the Pincer as soon as it came out. Seeing it in shot show and following Agilites release, I feel like given the testing and battle proven-(ness?), it was a no brainer to get something slim, retains mags, easy re-indexing, and works on my PC from Defense Mechanisms the way this Pincer Placard does. G clips all the way!
I have no interest in stacking on it, although I’m sure many, including yourself, are excited to see how it *stacks up* (pun intended) against the competition in modularity as new products from Agilite come out.
Stoked for this to arrive. Good video!

They both seem to fit a purpose, just not my purpose. I am impressed with the usability of those mag retention straps. Honestly, I primarily do reloads from my belt. I will transfer mags from my carrier to my belt pouches because I’m fast and more controlled than reloading directly from my carrier. Carrier reloads just feel too cramped for a big guy like me.
The thing from this video that actually might make it onto my gear is that Spiritus extension. I wish you would’ve talked a little bit more about what that can do and hold.
I’ll keep these in mind if I ever find that I need to vary my mission set up. It’s always good to be aware of other gear that’s out there even if you don’t currently need it. You never know when your needs might change.

You’re the reason I decided on a K19. I’ve wanted a pincer since I first saw their shot show video, then heard about the K19. Pincer is out of stock in RG. I’ve been checking daily but gave up and got the AG triple mag pouch, just to have mags on my plate carrier. Figured once the pincer is back in stock I’ll get that. Eventually I’ll get the AMAP3 and my AG3 will go on that to have a team reload capability. Sounds good in theory anyway

@@ThinLineDefenseCo so the biggest problem that I have been having with the bison belt is that fact that it doesn't have velcro all the way up to the cobra buckle, so of course on the firearm side of the belt, it sags it alittle due to the lack of velcro. I love that it's a nice and lightweight belt and very easy adjustment on the fly. But I'm alittle disappointed that the belt is not doing a very good job at supporting the weight on the firearm side of belt.

I will be your internet fart mouth. With multi curve plates the top corners of the pincer sticks out pretty damn far. Enough to give the inside of my left bicep some velcro rash. It also doesn't care for the Gen3 PMags all that much. Its the "over insertion" nub on the spine of the mag that causes the issue. Roll with Gen2s or file that nub off and you're good to go. I still roll with the pincer despite its little annoying flaws because of the super slim admin pouch you can attach to it. You can have a flashlight, multi tool, notebook, sharpie, chemlight, and snack all in a nice slim package.

Yea I'm with you on the tabs and the gen3s. We really only run gen2 pmags so it wasn't an issue I was testing but it came up later on in some comments. With the small issues that have crept up I still like it too!
