Me too I was so upset when she got destroyed too. I was so upset I'll never forgive those evil ugly demons for that. Buffybot is my favorite female robot she's so beautiful, funny, and sweet. She never hurt or murdered a soul which makes her the best. And she never yelled or be mean and talk to anyone crazy at all thats why I like and love her the best in this show.

Buffy did just as much if not more to harm Spike than herself when they were together. Certainly, there was a lot of unhealthy self loathing and denial but she genuinely abused Spike, physically and emotionally. She treated HIM like an emotionless robot, no more that a sex toy. Neither one of them were emotionally ready to be together, which is frustrating when Spike was the only fellow to treat her as an equal. He did NOT go about the smartest or healthiest way but he truly loved Buffy. He changed his very being for her. Forehead Man was way too caught up in wearing being miserable and his own self loathing to be the partner Buffy needed.
He only liked Riley because he knew that Buffy didn't love him. He making her believe that Riley was the love of her life was one of the worst things he did in his life.

Even with a soul, Angel acted on selfish impulse: he wandered for a century, looking for something to give his life meaning, and then there’s a teenage girl; cute, blonde, naive, and powerful. The dynamic was always uneven: he’d been alive for so long, and her adulthood hadn’t even begun. That amount of experience and wisdom should’ve given him the foresight to forgo being with a high school girl. And then he dumped her out of some “noble sacrifice.” It was about his own sense of purpose from the beginning. But y’know, campy tv show for girls.

Regardless, I agree their season 3 relationship was not healthy for either of them - half together and half apart. As for noble sacrifice, I think that happened when he gave up being human so she could live.
This show got too weird and stupid and annoying season 4 on. Riley, Adam, Dawn, Buffy and Spike.. everything was just terrible. The only cool thing post-season 3 was Dark Willow.

The Buffybot was one of my favorite characters in the show: endearing, charming and sweet. I hated it whenever she got damaged.

Even with a soul, Angel acted on selfish impulse: he wandered for a century, looking for something to give his life meaning, and then there’s a teenage girl; cute, blonde, naive, and powerful. The dynamic was always uneven: he’d been alive for so long, and her adulthood hadn’t even begun. That amount of experience and wisdom should’ve given him the foresight to forgo being with a high school girl. And then he dumped her out of some “noble sacrifice.” It was about his own sense of purpose from the beginning. But y’know, campy tv show for girls.
@@samiridgethevoice I'll respectfully disagree about Angel, he never had a purpose post curse- which is why he fell so hard for a 'naive high school girl' who made him think redemption was possible. Did he use her, maybe a little - but Buffy was not some cheerleader - she regularly tortured and murdered demons, that ages you.
Regardless, I agree their season 3 relationship was not healthy for either of them - half together and half apart.
As for noble sacrifice, I think that happened when he gave up being human so she could live.
@@TheAzerjaban I agree with Sami Ridge. I wasn't crazy about Angel or Spike. Both of them were too old for her in both literal age and experience.
This show got too weird and stupid and annoying season 4 on. Riley, Adam, Dawn, Buffy and Spike.. everything was just terrible. The only cool thing post-season 3 was Dark Willow.
