First, the power comes from something that while tied to memories of his mom, Shoma is forging his future with new bonds of friendship and the happiness he created from that like making a cake for Sachika. This Gochizō was born from something HE made rather than getting it from someone. Second, the timing of its debut, Strawberry Shortcake is the default flavor of Japanese Christmas cake and we will see plenty of Seasons Beatings with this form for the rest of the month. And to keep the form from being overused and one shotting everyone, the trade off is a faster calorie burn for its use and passing out. Which could be interpreted as Shoma having a sugar crash after consuming something with high sugar.
My favorite episode is episode 1, but this episode has also become my favorite🥰 I had almost the same reaction as you while watching this! I also hope that Sachika will become a Kamen Rider. Her kindness, strength, and spirit are already Kamen Rider.

I have a feeling that Jeebh can be the candidate for Bitter Gavv even the probability is very low. Also I think his appearance gonna slightly change in the next arc, might be combine with Shita's costume as a memorial for him.
