Seidr. Her PRF C Skill has come in clutch in Astra so much. What's even more dumb than one Seidr? Combining her with Duo Seidr to lock down a single unit every turn.
Although I agree that Seidr is the better Astra mythic, I still think Ratatoskr is a great unit thanks to her base kit and divine vein. Also, I really feel bad for Elimine, this is what happens when Nintendo decided to add Peachette to the final wave of the Booster Course Pass and not her.
While she may not be on par with Seidr, she's still an incredible unit with the amount of dmg she could inflict and a nice addition for anyone who wants a beast cav or doesn't want to use Ash. Plus, healing allies and having a divine vein that can prevent warp is a nice added touch.
Man it's still so insane to me how elimine hard fall off. It's not even that over time she was declining like many other meta units across time, she was still very dominant after months of release and there were very few countermeasures. She fall off because of 1 single unit, the moment freyr dropped, she pretty much vanished from existence.
If Freyr was a light mythic, everything would've been fine. Freyr could've served as a perfect Embla counter. I have no idea why they chose to counter Elimine instead.
In the astra mythic tier list IMO Veyle should be higher since she can be used really well in SD, Veyle's support is still really solid despite all the pre combat damage and DR piercing since she can really help to activate prime skills and her scowl support is timeless since not many nukes have high res, not only that but she can also be a solid Winter Byleth counter. If you can pair Veyle with someone that can cleanse debuffs and gives post combat healing she can make a tank unstoppable (speaking from experience)
She's definitely fun for tanking and inflicting massive dmg, but I wouldn't say she's at the same level as Plumeria and Seidr, so I do have to agree with that tier list. Also, seeing Elimine in the lowest tier fills me with dread.
Reginn is still pretty top tier for me whether I'm omni-tanking, save tanking, or doing hit and run. Getting a pot or annoying structure and having her crazy canto is just so helpful for me.

They’ve really been going all-out for brave damage reduction lately, haven’t they? Definitely can’t complain myself, though, dealing with all the crazy brave attackers and enablers released over the last three years has been hell.
Thorr and Elimine's positions on the tier list are part of what make me glad I stay in tiers 21-23. Very rarely do I see super stacked teams and as such I can have fun using whatever I want. Don't think I've ever seen Freyr there, so my Elimine still sees plenty of use. Not to mention, she's still a healer so that alone gives me reason to keep her around and her drive DR while minimal shouldn't be shrugged off just because DR piercing exists. That's not an issue specific to her, after all. That said, I'm loving using Ratatoskr. She honestly feels like a Reginn that does different things. Speaking of, I've never stopped using Reginn, so I'm hoping she gets something nice in her remix next month.
I’ve seen some use in Veyle for Player phase teams. For example, she helps out Yunaka a lot against the Winter Byleths since Yunaka can’t live Winter Byleth’s special, but thanks to Veyle, she can kill and canto back to safety.
My highest mythic merges are almost the exact opposite of your tier list 😆, and I completely agree with your tier rankings. Thanks for the fantastic vid! Always enjoy the tier list as always
Veyle and Ratatoskr are my main mythic team in astra(will never change Veyle) their support made this mode more fun and capable to fight against anything and I enjoy it a lot!
Anti warping is more valuable than ever, but I feel they should've doubled down on the support. She's literally called 'mending hand' yet has only her terrain and a tiny bit of healing as support. The range of the terrain I'm also finding can be an issue - having it set before canto definitely helps, but it's only 2 spaces away from her so people can't warp into the space to attack, but they can warp around just outside of that and reposition someone into attacking range etc. so gatekeeper is wayyyy more effective.
Been having so much fun with Ratatoskr galeforce, as another player who suffers from Reginn galeforcing, she feels like a nice upgrade to Reginn. I hope she gets a really good remix to improve her galeforcing or one shot potential because she can't kill shit with Seidr shell 😭Super sad about Elimine too since she is my other highly merged Astra mythic and she is now dead thanks to Freyr. Perhaps when we get healing Smite skill for healers, she can work with Grandscratcher in Galeforce teams🥴
In my experience, Ratatoskr can be a great counter to Brave Corrin Saveballs. Just cleanse the Divine Vein Stone effect with Green and you should be able to get rid of Corrin.
I wonder if anything is going to happen between her and Alfonse as the story goes on because not only is she interacting with him alot but she brings him up specifically in some of her quotes. Also rip helicopter helicopter Thorr 😢
Day 77 Campaign: Alfonse for CYL8! I started putting Ratatoskr, Batekeeper, and Céline together with W!Byleth (with MB in S slot) and I'm loving it, +34 hp is so silly, not as silly as Alfonse getting 110 hp back but still. 😄
I've been seeing people say Elimine isn't that bad and it's like... what exactly does she bring to the team? DR? Either it gets pierced in half or negated outright. False Start? Gets hard countered by Freyr. Sure, you can use her on the off chance a defense doesn't have Freyr, but even then, with Cav lines being so prevalent and defenses having such varied nukes, "shutting down" one unit is usually never enough to stop an onslaught. Extra slot? At that point just bring Naga. Or even Ashera honestly. I haven't thought she's been good even before Freyr dropped but Freyr sealed the deal for her being a pretty bad mythic in today's meta.
I really dont think Elimine to be as low. With Respite+ and a distant Guard seal, she can give Guard, 30% DR, and 10 D/R to a far savior regardless of Freyr. Still the best tank support after Veyle, at least tier 3 in my book.
Have Elimine at +3 so unfortunately i have to bring her. She is such a drag to have, her C skil honestly doesn't give me anything, I would give her guidance 4 if I could
I think Thórr died because of her summer alt. It doesn't even help that Mjölnir was a pretty generic weapon. There was just no reason to use her anymore and her Drive Breath effect isn't even that great. Duo Thórr can do the same and works great for AoE spam because of her unlimited Time's Pulse effect. She definitely needed a refine and remix on day one lol.
I am so surprised how good is Seidr... I am worried to +10 merge her just to get a better unit lik happened with Ash and Askr. Do you think she is worth merging even if for example Thorr gets an incredible remix?
Ratatoskr is a good mythic solely because of her fixed canto and 3 move, but I do feel like shes genuinely so so much worse than gatekeeper as they do almost the exact same things except I have d/r ploy 3 on my gk so she's completely outperformed.
What I like about elimine is that there’s only 1 hard counter. Make 2 teams for the season, 1 with her and 1 without. They have Freyr I don’t use her, no Freyr she’s still great!

I'll admit, Ratatoskr has really helped me with the warp canceling in my Hit and Run teams, not to mention she can take down Freyr when i need her to.

I was always trying to figure out how to fit her into my teams but this'll hopefully give me that!

I like Ratatoskr the most, I was able to get her to +4 Merge with the summoning luck I've had during the recent banners.

Green Vein is a bit undertuned if you ask me. Throw in canto control and anti-lunge/drag back in there at least.
