To continue to make AAA games on mobile, we had to adapt too. Gameloft, but why delete those old games like :- backstab, lets golf, modern combat 2, nova 1 and 2 old asphalt games, shadow guardian and rainbow six shadow vanguard

It's sad that they are not available anymore, back then I was a child and unable to pay for digital games, but I still have my Xperia Play and I'd gladly buy most of them now.
I just got this phone last week. It's really worth it. Playing Dead Space and Asphalt 6 (They're both free!) on this phone in HD is just beautiful. Not to mention it can emulate PS1 games (I'm playing FF9 on mine atm) and Sony plans to bring converted PSP titles like GoW, LBP and Tekken to the PSSuite later on. Seriously worth it.

Nice lineup! I will definitely be buying ALL of these. Any hope of seeing Eternal Legacy, Crystal Monsters, Soul of Darkness, Blades of Fury, Sacred Odyssey, NOVA 2 and/or Dungeon Hunter 2 on Xperia Play? I would simply pass out from excitement if I got to re-live these games on a device with real buttons! Crystal Monsters needs more attention than it got, and Eternal Legacy should just be ported to everything because it's better than a lot of RPGs out there!
If you are owning a Xperia Play. Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus loads perfectly fine. The downloading and installing is very smooth if you use a delicated WIFI. There is a little problem of loading the game but as SaiyanAndre recommended. 1. start the game, 2. force close 3. hold the home button to get recent things open 4. click the game If you are unable to extract the game, you may have to use the android market to get an application to extract game. Enjoy the game! :)
@SuperZakSam You don't have to wait. You just have to own an iOS device. You could have been playing ALL these games for the last 4 months! And some new ones that aren't on any android device yet and have also not yet been announced for the Xperia Play!

Asphalt 6 is the best game I've played in my Play! The graphics and the gameplay is so awesome! Best... but the inability to move the sd card really ticks me off... it takes about 30mb on internal memory... please update it with more levels and ability to move to sd.. I've finished the game 100% but I love it so much I dont wanna delete it! Thanks!

Also ive noticed in some other games like asphalt that may freeze during load times, put the xperia play into airplane mode and itl work perfectly.... i dont know why though..
@busthebest Apparently Xperia Play is not a PSP phone. Instead it has it's own games called Playstation Suite that is composed of mostly games that can be played on the iPhone and classic PS1 games.

theyre only not available, as google, doesnt want them to be. they could be easy to access via a portal, if the publisher, wanted them to be. the demand for new devices to keep the market going. im still using my amiga, with a vampire 68080 virtual processor accelerator and trevor is still producing new games for it.
this is gameloft before they sold-out to microtransactions. just shows how even the very best mobile phone games developer can easily fall down to shady practices

@XDerKleineX there are games that require you to touch in the middle of the screen too... and even touching in corners is kinda annoying big they are small screens and you have big fingers. I think buttons are better, at least for most games like action, racing, fighting, platformers... plus in some games it seems you can use buttons and the touchscreen to complement eachother.
its not really about the best specs, if the game is optimized for a system it will work great and this really looks amazing. something which i wanted is finally here, i am excited for what this phone will do for the phone's fps games. I really want to see more mordern combat 2 gameplay on this phone! The online mode etc.

@gameloft i actually found the problem, it was with my microSD card being too slow :/ NEVER EVER EVER GONNA BUY A MICROSD CARD ON EBAY!!! i reinstalled it on my phone memory, and now it works fine :P just that, it kinda works slow when i move from the "choose a race type(career)" screen :/ other than that it looks so sweet :D thanks for the replay tho, GL ftw xD

congratulation GAMELOFT.. you stated as a litle company but now you are fighting with the big companies..I wish you luck,,and I hOpe you release games for the wii,xbox,ps3 too. is it a phone or a videogame console? loooks like nice.
@banido I would agree with fighting and platformers, but not with action and racing. Racing works well with the accelerometer. And with action games I never could really controll them well with two sticks, there I'd say the Keyboard and Mouse are best, and touchscreen is second. For example on home consoles most FPS games have aim assist, I can play quite well without on my iPod Touch 4. Buttons + touchscreen isn't good because reaching up to the scren could be a pain.

Crystal Monsters needs more attention than it got, and Eternal Legacy should just be ported to everything because it's better than a lot of RPGs out there!
this phone needs a comeback (a theory is that they were afraid it would cannibalize sales on psvita and os4 at the time so they halted development)

OMG and the ps suite expands it but 1 thing ill rlly want is a psp emu but for some games like ssx or wipeout or even midnight club LA
