I do remember in one of my games that I went round the entire map, as far as I needed to, collecting all the tech pages before returning to my base and unlocking the whole lot in one go. Mind you, I couldn't do it straight away. I had to sort the usual iron and food situation out first. But, once I'd established that, going round the map was relatively easy. There's enough food and gas to make it happen, for sure. Sleep was about the only thing you really needed to keep an eye on, and even that could be combated via eating enough melons. Or, at least, I think it was melons than reduced fatigue. You do have to use a fair bit of discipline and not pick up too much. Only the really valuable stuff which could be stored in the ATV and trailer. Only carrying enough food and no seeds or ores, nails, screws and other stuff you can get easily. I would think that the reason why those large apartment buildings don't hold as much loot is due to there being a limit as to how much there is in any one building, so there's no way of being able to fill every place with something, meaning there's going to be a few that are empty by default. It is kind of annoying, but then at the same time, it's a bit more realistic, too, as you wouldn't find something every time if you were to be looting an apocalyptic town.
Kage one tip, when you go to loot and your vehicle has gas in it, you don’t need to take more gas with you as you’ll most likely find more gas in almost every town. Also, why don’t you make another flask for water since you have the aluminium now? Great vid as always, this game rocks!
The shear numbers of containers in the apartment building town even though some are empty has about the same or a little bet more loot that normal towns do. Loot reg every 10 days on day that end with a 1. day 1, day 11, day 21, day 31 and so on.
Oil cans are needed really only for circular sawbench. They are also needed for the gasoline cooking , but with the lucky looter perk and the need to loot only electronic components you will get hundreds of gas cans in the process. So don't bother with the oil extractor.
I'm unable to play this game as steam doesn't work on my 12 year old iMac. Can't afford new computer (Generally watch everything on a ROKU). Have tried to communicate with the developer, but can't access the discord. So on that note.... (Excluding the obvious ones like: Upgradable/Larger food bag or Truck/ATV reversing view, etc.) ...Here's my 26 cents! A) Bring back the Land Claim Pole!! (NO building restrictions) Have it completely optional. (Construct the same as sign-post) The "HOME CLAIM" removes ground foliage (~for a nice lawn & easier visibility around base) and a toggle-able compass/arrow to point you back home. ~(Could possibly be used in conjunction with adding NPC's at later date.) B) Cart upgrades: Purchase an "upgrade package" from the trader and use upgrade hammer to apply to a cart. Upgrade Type 1- LOGS ONLY CART: Fits 3 log stands into cart increasing capacity to 24 logs. Type 2 - STONE ONLY CART: Essentially turns cart into giant stone crate with capacity of (at least) 6 crates. Type 3 - SANDSTONE ONLY CART. ~Same properties as type 2. Type 4 - MULTIBOX CART: Turns cart into equivalent of 4 storage crates. Type 5 - SCAFFOLD CART: Adds 2 more wheels to cart and an extendable ladder (maybe 5/6 high). Allowing you to reach those awkward areas without having to build/delete extra structures first. ~Upgrade packages could require a special menu at Trader. Provide the necessary parts to the trader and purchase completed package for 50 or 100. ~(Can work for all "package" upgrades.) C) TOOL BELT: Purchased from trader, allows 2 extra "carry slots" for TOOLS ONLY! No weapons. (Appears with backpack). D) STRENGTH UPGRADE: should include the ability to carry a fourth log. Also could stop you from ultra-slow walking when over-burdened or carrying animals. ~(Still prevents you from sprinting.) E) Upgradable ingot shelves: Double or triple stack on each shelf. ~Purchase pack from trader. F) Additional Short shelving rack. ~1x3 as well as the 2x3! G) Craftable Binoculars or telescope. Possibly a purchasable telescopic sight for the crossbow. H) If removing ability to craft items (~As per electrical & mechanical parts)... make them purchasable from the trader (at 3.50) so you're not totally reliant on looting them. I ) A "SMELTER"! Looks like the gas making machine but... (different colour obviously) add "X" CANS and smelt them back to 1 Aluminium ORE. You could also add 5/6 iron fragments and smelt them into an Iron ORE. J) Stack-able empty clay bowls and Fish Oil. To an amount of 5 or 10 each. K) "Double Doors". Also... More DOOR DESIGN OPTIONS! (~Also different small window types too.) With the ability to choose which direction the door opens outwards. L) Stone stairs and stone walls; To match the stone foundations. Also... Stone (and wood) crenelated walls ("Castled walls"). Maybe even an "Archway". M) "Floating" wood foundations (Like the stone/dirt ones). Also... "Angled" and triangular stone and dirt foundations. N) Half sized foundations or ceilings: with small triangle pieces (for corners). = Ledges and walkways O) Gate defence upgrades: Maybe purchase blueprints or an upgrade package from the Trader. Adds a few spikes and some barbed wire. (Makes gate open outwards too.) P) More paint colours. Maybe the ability to paint foundations too. Even different coloured lighting! Q) Vertical Half-walls and triangle walls (upper and lower). Also, half length pillars/posts. R) Short/Half stairs and longer ramps. S) Larger Town Hall and Larger Greenhouse blueprints purchasable from Trader. ~Adds a larger T.Hall; at either 4x3 or 5x3. ~Doubles the size of the Greenhouse. (Maybe a "back-to-back" look with doors at both ends.) T) Sheep in the barn: collect wool. (Could possibly make separate small Chicken Coup. ~Houses 6 chickens.) U) 2 WIRE GATES. ~(To match the wire fence.) One large, one small/single. V) Make individual/preferred pictures and plants selectable (maybe using mouse-wheel) during selection... before placing! W) Garden Flowers and Bushes. Possibility of window boxes. X) Small Aluminium flask: Carries 100. ~This should be the flask you find in the large town. Large flask (200) is then the craft-able one. Y) Roof pieces which can connect/snap together. Also... Additional Steeper angled roofs, a windowed roof and a Steeple-style roof-cap. Z) DIAMOND CAVES!!! Using the original cave design from 4 years ago... (~You know, the really creepy/spooky caves) Put them underground or under mountains with hidden entrances you have to crouch to enter. In these caves is only coal, but... Inside (maybe 10) coal pieces are diamonds worth 50 coins each (Diamonds do not respawn). Protecting/inhabiting the mines are those old Ogres with the hardhats (They'll seem less "out of place" in a dark cave). Purchase map and key from trader for first mine. Inside first mine is a map & key to the next, and so on. (You have to discover them somewhere in the caves.) ~500 coins for each mine. ~I'll leave it there but I could go on. Have many other ideas too. I would very much appreciate it if these idea's (if any good) could be passed on for me. I'm more than happy to go into fine-detail and discussion. This game is better than all of the other games of this type, and keeps getting better. My only interaction with it is watching you and others play... for the last 5 years! Thank you. ☺👍 PS: Stop waiting for them to attack you and just stab them! 🤯 When sneaking up from behind, you can get at least 4 or 5 good hits in first before he takes a swing. ...And when the dude with the bat raises it over his head, don't wait the 3 seconds to hit him... Just hit him! Hope this helps.🤗
If you don't care too much about the coffee and tea, they sell for a dollar a piece just like the eggs. But the can stack up to ten and don't degrade. I collect them then take them in batches to the trader :p
Howdy do Kage! You were very Tech Savvy today! Congrats! Wow super excited for the next episode! You are rocketing forward on your expansions and gameplay! God times for sure! God bless you and the family! ~John
If it's guns you want, I understand that virtually every other game has them. If this game had guns then it would turn into every other survival game and get overburdened by people complaining the enemies are too easy and etc..... This game is better. Keeps the enemies simple and the stress levels low. Far more enjoyable and relaxing gameplay yet has just enough danger to really sh*t in your cereal. 😁
Mike won’t harvest watermelon until you build the watermelon crate

Hi Kage, you can craft tea and coffee while looting. You never go thirsty
I am loving the infected. You should definitely keep it going
a MINITALY camp, you say...🤔

You can make coffee and Tea while looting if you run out of water for something to drink you get the cans back after drinking
When you have a plan to repair the damage truck in town. I saw it part of your episodes
Nice techfinds
Once you have Mike up farming more you'll have so much food that you don't even know what to do with it
You need both wind and solar for power. The more batteries the better!!
Good stuff
I'm almost caught up - as my first play-through...following you perfectly.

There was another texh page in the military base I saw it next to the green folder at 14.19 ish
Nah that’s just the sunlight hitting the edge of the table lol, but ngl it does look like a tech page
I bet you've probably got enough to get to the truck by now.
If you don't care too much about the coffee and tea, they sell for a dollar a piece just like the eggs. But the can stack up to ten and don't degrade. I collect them then take them in batches to the trader :p
They are 3 dollars a piece if u make them coffee or tea with aluminum cans
@AnthonyRampone-k7i oh! Nice. I didn't know that :)
what exactly is a MINITALY camp?
You need to build a watermelon crate
Mike will only eat the watermelon and pumpkin if you put them in his storage.
Hey Kage! Why don't you go get the red truck. You could loot way more!!
You need to make the crossbow
If you make the coffee I think it sales for 3$ a cup.
Is solar outright better than wind? Or is it a bit of a pro and con?
Solar only works when the sun is out, not at night and not during storms. Wind is always making power.
Are you going to get the truck?
Howdy do Kage! You were very Tech Savvy today! Congrats! Wow super excited for the next episode! You are rocketing forward on your expansions and gameplay! God times for sure! God bless you and the family! ~John
Just do all mission in project castaway please make one last video 1 hour long
Hey Kage. Replant the water melon dude. Mike will not!
Anyone knows why Kage doesn’t play Satisfactory? I’m new but in his only playthrough he REALLY liked it and I love the game
Inferior game.
Too bad this game doesn't have any guns
If it's guns you want, I understand that virtually every other game has them.
