I love Alex PxP channel so much. It absolutely fine, I have 2 breeding Hens all year round any they love me going in every morning and cleaning the nest box. The females can be so trusting and will wait happily for you to rearrange thier furniture so to speak!

Uh, my male budgie is trying to mate with his 1 month old daughter (she turned 1m today) and its whenever u take her out of the cage- he just wants to mate with his mate all day long and it's whenever I take them out together. The baby budgie can't even fly or climb yet and whenever I hold the poor thing and her back is exposed he just flies over to me and starts mating with her, I try to stop him but it happens EVERY TIME SHE CHIRPS FOR FOOD. HE does this with his mate to but im a bit more worried for the chick- so etimes he's being a good father and feeding her but other times he's showing bad behavior. PLEASE HELP IDK WHAT TO DOO 😔
We sometimes foster baby budgies to other parents who have babies within the same time period.. (My green female is pretty old, so she tends to get aggressive with her babies sometimes).. Try doing that..
If not possible, try hand feeding her
that’s happened to me many times, i usually take it as a sign that their father may not want their baby anymore since she is a month old and should already know how to eat on her own. So I separate the baby from their parents with their siblings or if they aren’t ready to move out i keep them in my room all day and return them to their cage at night so the father is too tired to do anything to them. However, i do this since my budgie does this to their daughters when they’re already old enough to eat on their own. Maybe you can do the same but hand feed the baby so it doesn’t starve.
oh, and also maybe have the dad go out in a different room than them if he acts like that when they’re outside because if this keep happening he could injure her. My male budgie has injured and killed his babies by trying to mate with them back then when I didn’t know what to do.

So when you have a nest box are you risking the hen abandoning the egg when you clean the box out ? Or should you not clean a nest box ? What is the best way ?
We have a brand new albino girl and I was wondering if she were bred what she would produce since we don't know what her color should have been.
If she's Albino, all 100% of her male offspring will inherit what's called the "Ino" mutation. 0% of her female offspring will inherit it because it's sex-linked Recessive.

Hello sir I got a question , about cookie ( rip ) before he pass away did he like by months start to get problems with flying and sleep too much or not cuz my budgie is really old and he is acting really tired and idk why , so I want to know is he sick or its cuz of long age , thank you .
@Azula Farum tbh idk but Ig 6 years old tho he isn't like sick or vomiting or getting worth everyday no , but he is really tired and all day sleep + he don't care about the female was with him anymore or doesn't even want to breed

Hey I have a problem, my baby budgie is about one months old, but recently he's sleeping more & doesn't play also don't make sounds , looks like he's tired, today I saw he's having trouble to fly and walking and syndromes look like he's got seizure....but what's the remedy of it I don't know😔 there's no well pet doctors around my home...please anyone can help me or give some suggestion what should I do for taking care of my baby budgie ?😔

Do you have the breed box set up with all the comfort they Need? Like Alan has? Many birds won't at all.. my female bird kept on crawling inside of vases and not coming out. The male budgie wouldn't follow her or go inside things....he is younger than her too. Haven't seen any action but waiting. She is old enough, I believe he has feelings and doesn't know how to make, she is very aggressive, in general he might be intimidated. They gotta all be ready..

I was told to remove the eggs has soon has possible if the are not going to be good also I don’t want to inbreed birds family how do you keep from doing that and my one brief has had set after sets of bird I talk to the vet and gave me some vitamin what else can I do

Hey alen my budgie has layed eggs it’s been 3 days now and 2 egg 1 every day it’s my first time having budgie eggs and I’m afraid to check if the egg is fertile or not because I fear I might break can you help me?
You will see if the egg is fertile When the birds mate agian, also the bird will sit on egg to make it fertile😊To make sure the egg doesn't break, Put some hamster shavings in the Nest box (Or you can use hay) To keep from breaking:) hope this tip helps! (I've had my birds for 2 years and I researched a lot And it's my 1st time too having eggs, So you're not alone🤗🤗🤗

Bro I have 2 budgie female and male.its a week in my home. But these two budgie are so scared when I place hand on cage they fly like crazy and *they don't eat anything other than seeds* no *fruits* no *veggies* no *nuts* etc. Why ?? They don't play just sitting on one place..they dont go to nest.

Take it slow, some need more time to adjust to the new home. I've got mine for a month and they are good now! Mine don't like fruits that much either yet. It can also depend on presentation. Some budgies like big chunks, some like it small. You just have to try it out. A lot will go to waste in the beginning. Mine like greens a lot tho. Romana salad, dandelion, spinach, ... . I moved super slow in the beginning to not scare them when I was around the cage. Taking in a soothing voice also helps. You can also try feeding them millet and then just progress until you can go nearer and nearer and finally they will go on your hand. If they don't want to interact just talk a bit with them with your hand inside or with the millet. They will learn you mean them no harm.
Don't worry. Bedore i bought my first budgie I would stand and cry at the store so worried I would hurt them accidentally. They are afraid of your hand and it looks really big to them. I bought mine one at a time, and I'm glad I did....there is always a flock leader. No one had to decide because, the leader was the first one there. Then I added, then I added the male last. Also, I had 2 cages so they could get away from each other. ..sometimes they don't want to be by the other.
Mine rarely eat fruits or veggies. I have tried many different kinds of things. Strawberry , radish, carrot..but this is normal. Make sure the water dishes are really scrubbed, all that. Seeds and millet are okay, you can try to mix chopped f&v WITH seeds. Sometimes this works. For me, no. 🤣
You might want to identify who you believe is the flock leader is. Train her with the one finger " up" method so when they out of their cage, you put finger infront or their chest. Slow, gently . You put finger infront of them and say "up" to them. Nudge them gentle...to get them up on you. I have one that does , leader i cab carry around .the other is learning and afraid , the other refuses. Lol just keep learning. Slowing they come around. Alan videos are very helpful. 🧡💛💚
