🎉Thank you 😊🎉
Stemetil (R) or prochlorperazine. Antinauseant. Has antianxiety properties, for extreme anxiety. Pharmaceutically, probably not a good idea as it might have made everyone sleepy. Valoid (cyclizine) would have been fatal. Having said that, it seems not to have had a negative outcome, so, all's well there. What pharmacists used, in a stress situation, was to use propranolol (Inderal) as it flattened the adrenaline. Must admit that I'm unsure what the effect may have been on physical activity. Drips, or vacoliters, come in different volumes, but usually 1000ml. Yes, you can force the drip. Another trick (for heat exhaustion) was to keep a drip in the fridge and run in a cold drip to drop core temp fast. Not feasible in the field.
So sorry to hear of his passing. Having been in SAMS, myself, as a logistician, had the greatest respect for the Ops Coy Medics. They did sterling work. 🎉
Rest in peace. Salute
Good experience!! R.I.P. !!
