A lot of you have been requesting the score for these arrangements so here is this one: drive.google.com/file/d/1o4PI41PusKbB-hmHAnNqObPkwztIZbOK/view?usp=sharing
This is truly art. Opeth to me has been my favorite band since I can remember. They always had a classical and orchestral feel to their arrangements and chord/harmony selections. Their use of Multiple guitars proved that point in the harmonies but THIS FURTHER proves my point. This was truly something special to listen to. Keep up the good work. P.S. you did a great job on the vocal lines.
Prog metal my mom and I can enjoy together 😀. This is so awesome! So glad I found this channel. Or this channel found me. 🙂 This is absolutely beautiful!
I am absolutely amazed. How much of this is written by hand, manually i meant? How much effort you put into this? I am thinking about doing the same for different pieces.
@@MSelozk Sorry for the late reply. I usually start with a GP or MIDI file, so I don't have to do the decyphering myself (tho I had to do it for some songs). Then, I kinda go layer by layer, starting with the obvious ones like guitars, bass, vox. Then, I add some other stuff to make it a bit more interesting, change some voices here and there, add percs or whatever I think is relevant. Usually these arrangements take between 15 to 30 hours depending on the song. Thanks for your comment!
Thank you. Very much. I rarely write comments, but This one is blowing my mind. Just as your orchestral version of "Ghost of Perdition". Thank you for this view, your work and quality. Would really like to hear more Opeth from you.
Thank you! I told myself I wouldn't do any more Opeth because it's too much work for the returns. But I'm always very happy to see that people are enjoying my work :)

Damn. It never occured to me that opeth would make good rpg music. Im almost getting final fantasy vibes at some parts.
Ay yo, I thought the same thing

such a lovely arrangement. 😊
I also hear a happy/hopeful undertone from the whole song which never occurred to me before!
Blackwater Park RULES 🤘👿
I think there's always hope in melancholy :)
Thanks for listening!
The "Pull me down again..." sections are two of the ONLY moments of major tonality in Opeth's metal discography if I'm not mistaken.
This is amazing
Thank you!!
Dude this is amazing. I hope to listen to more arrangements from opeth. You made it with musescore?
Thanks! I have an arrangement of Ghost of Perdition on my channel also.
And no, I used Sibelius with the Noteperformer plugin :)
I am absolutely amazed.

AMAZINNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
It's almost a soundtrack to a Studio Ghibli film, mixed with high fantasy
That's sort of what I was going for

Random, but I could see this being played behind some WWII footage (at least the intro). Good stuff!
Yea, some flyover shots of bombed cities and air raids. I could totally see it!

Is this jazz ? Is this metal ? Is this classical ? In the end it's all the same anyways.....
A-one, a-two, a-one two three!
