Dream Theater - The Dance of Eternity for Full Orchestra [NEW AUDIO]
A few weeks ago, someone named Tore, from Norway, sent me this new version of my arrangement. It uses an entirely different soundfont library, and contains some additions and modifications that Tore made to my score. Their version of my arrangement was so good that I asked if I could upload it to my channel.

Theme and Variations on "À la Claire Fontaine" for Large Orchestra
มุมมอง 11511 หลายเดือนก่อน
This theme and variations for large orchestra is based on the traditional French/Québécois song "À la Claire Fontaine". This anonymous song has a simple, yet beautiful melody that tells of unrequited love and lost friends. While writing this piece, I tried to think about the various musicians and composers who might have encountered the melody. I drew inspiration from folk sources like call and...

As a flute player with an expensive ass flute. What the fuck why is that better 😭
Haha don't worry, it's not that good. The upper range is quite fragile
I designed I smaller one bur does not sound as good as that
Keep trying 💪💪
You should be using a rubber mallet instead of a claw hammer. Alternatively if you don't want to buy a rubber mallet you can take a tennis ball and cut an X in it then slip it over your claw hammer.
Incredibly epic. What a hard song to do this to; and you aced it.
Thank you so much!! Glad you enjoyed
Thank you for this interesting project. I'm in the process of printing out the pieces now. They fit together extremely well. I'm having a challenge printing the inner pieces with the trem cavity so i'm using supports to try to get them right. But wow, this is going to be awesome. Well done. Hopefully it doesn't flex too much. Thanks again for your generosity.
Cheers! Can't wait to see how it turns out!
Some Castlevania shit
Definitely!
Beautiful. I need more of it 😍
Thank you!! We are almost done with the next one!!
Very nice.
Thank you!
Excellent project my dude, I'm thinking about undertaking a custom guitar build of my own...keep on rockin!!!
Cheers man! Let me know how it turns out!
I fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucking love it
Thank you!!!
Pretty good! would be cool to hear this with real instruments :)
Hopefully one day!
Bravo! May I ask what instruments were used? Sounds like keyboard was still driving the main tune?
Beautiful work. Next project should be a 3D printed tuner. 😅
I don't know what you mean 😉
This is a fantastic build! Only bit of advice I would give for anyone who does this or if you decide to build a second one is to flip your parts upside down in your slicer software so that the front has the nice smooth textured finish from the build plate (especially the pick guard) but otherwise this is awesome!
Very true! But also this build was made on a old Anycubic Mega X so the finish is... less than desirable. The next guitar build was made with my Bambu P1P and the surface finish is much nicer
Question, can I used 22 fret fit on this design?
Good question, it's hard to say exactly if it will work since the scale length has to be somewhat precise. The guitar already has intonation issues, this may or may not fix them. So, truthfully, I don't know.
Hey, it's been a year. How's the body holding up vs string tension?
Honestly, not great. It started coming undone a few weeks after I finished it, I think it's mostly because I didn't put enough glue. I untightened the strings to relieve some tension and it's been holding fine since, but I don't think it would hold much for very long unless I were to disassemble and re-glue everything
@@xavierdumont Thanks for the reply!
Sir, have you tried sleeping.
I don't know what that is
@@xavierdumont look it up. It might give you more motivation to run your channel
Excellent !
Merci Julien!!
Hi Xavier. This is just awsome! Is it possible for you, to be so kind and get me a contact to conductor of this orchestra?
Thank you! Unfortunately, this orchestra is a computer simulation, so it has no conductor :)
Ok, I understand, thank you:) I also want to say, your music is very good, I`ve listen to some of your pieces and you have great ideas. Really nice, Congrats
Thank you, that means a lot!
I made this about a year ago and its such a fun build. I did mine in black white and gray. And two maybe three red pixels.
I saw that! Very cool
Wow...amazing!
Thank you so much!
Great work!
Thank you!
C'est excellent. Bravo.
Merci!!
It's a DAMN SHAME you don't have more views. People would rather listen to Justin Bieber or Rihanna than this beautiful music you arranged. Such beauty is indescribable, and transcends the ages. I'm sorry that people don't have the taste to appreciate your music and your talent ! Ugh, it’s so disappointing to see how people have lost their taste in REAL music these days. Seriously, everyone’s obsessed with these talentless pop stars and cookie-cutter hits. It’s like no one appreciates good music anymore! BTW, metal music is just as refined and sophisticated as classical music. Both genres have intricate compositions, incredible technical skill, and emotional depth. But of course, that’s lost on today’s brainwashed masses. SMH. 🤦♂ Everyone’s just obsessed with these bland pop songs that all sound the same, and it's so sad considering there is music like in this video, free to listen to.
Today’s crowd is too busy with their autotuned nonsense to recognize quality. Pathetic. 🙄🤦♂
Bro chill, the video JUST came out.
This is amazing
Thank you!!
i hope mikaell find this

This is real good, I like it
Thank you!!
Very nice. Going into my playlist. Cheers 🥂
Thank you! Glad you like it!!
Congrats 🎉🥳🤘🏻
Thank you!!
As a fellow composer/arranger I find it really cool! Although maybe (if ever played) write something for strings - since they can make this *gritty* sound. I am curious - where does this excerpt come from? Not that into metal so I'm curious what the original is :D
That's such a good idea! I will definitely try this. The song is Ghost of Perdition by Opeth
Bravo 🙌 brava 🎉bravi 🤩
Amazing, we need more of CoB Orchestra
Glad you like it!!
“You wouldn’t download a guitar” they said.
Excellent work, it is admirable to see that it turned out so pretty, congratulations.
Thank you! Glad you like it
Beautiful, love the arrangement
Thank you so much dude!
Very nice!
Thank you !!
Sweet 😊🤘 Your version sounds slower than I remember it. feels darker.
I think it is a bit slower yea !
I think you might be able to reduce button noises most effectively by damping vibrations of the PCB and the case.
Yea that's a good lead! I also found some silicon button actuators
I love this one
Thank you! I'm quite fond of it!
@@xavierdumont Do you do commission work or have any original sounds for sale?
