Sadly per joe, the DMV has to give them voter registration with the driver's license application paperwork (as I understand it's embedded in the paperwork)... I had to wait two and a half months to get an appointment that will take ten minutes to complete. This Governor should be ashamed. The State spent nearly 3.8 BILLION dollars on illegals in three sanctuary counties in 2023. It will be higher this year. And there is only one administrative person per DMV office and one rent-a-cop for security. Shameful... This was a fine State not too long ago. The whole Country is going in the same negative direction.

All States need to clean the rolls, so we can have confidence in the polls!
as soon as the death certificate is issued, the AG of each state should have a computer program that automatically removes the deceased name from the rolls, and on the 1st of each month this rolls should be verified to exclude all deceased from the previous month.
We have extremely clean rolls here in Texas. Albeit, it was just done a few weeks ago.
I remember when my father died, the undertaker reported to Social Security and his next check was prorated for exactly how many days he was alive that month.

In NYC my father's name remained on the roll for two election cycles.
I alerted the poll workers each time I voted he has been deceased more than a year.

We the people don’t want any person who isn’t an American Citizen voting. We don’t want any Citizen to vote twice. We don’t want dead people voting. We don’t want dementia patients or comatose patients in nursing homes voting.
We the people want American Citizens to vote and to show picture ID when they do so. We want Citizens to vote in the district associated w/ their ONE residence. And most of us aren’t comfortable w/ unsecured voting boxes on the street, ballots being mailed to citizens when they were not requested, ballot harvesting, same day registration, and voting months!
My vote should never be undermined by an illegal or fraudulent vote! I should feel secure in the knowledge that my vote actually counts!

I am 57, the first election I voted on was in 1986. We were required to show an ID to vote, that was just to prove that you are the person you say you are when you vote. My precinct was quite small in number of Voters. The four poll workers knew me personally, and one of them actually changed my diapers as a baby. Yet they were still required to see my ID and I was fine with showing it to them. The Democrats don't want to identify whoever is voting because then illegal votes couldn't be cast.

In my state, ID is only required the first time you vote in a polling place. Even then, you only need to show mail with your name and address. Every other time, you just need to sign a ledger.
If you want IDs to prevent non-citizens from voting then the only ID you could use is a passport. Only about 1/2 of people in the US have a passport. Even then, it doesn't have your address, so you would need both a passport and a state ID (or mail). Again, not everyone has a state ID.

My mother passed away 10 months before the election and she voted her in Maine I only found this out when two state voters official's showed up at my house while I was working on my truck and they wanted to talk to my mother as I have an apartment here at my house that I put on for her so she didn't die in an nursing home here in Maine and they showed me a list they had with her name on it and many others after I told them that she passed away 10 months ago!!! There is fraud in every state going thinking that Maine was a safe place to live in what a SLAP IN THE FACE THAT WAS!!! proves to me if you live in a DEMOCRAT controlled state BEWARE!!!

In California, my husband, who was a registered Republican died on the 25th of the month...he was immediately taken off the voter rolls...we all laughed at CA bias ...we know many dead folks and moved away folks are on our voter rolls...they were sued and removed a bunch, especially in LA..asters of the cheat

My mom, dad, and grandmother voted by mail according to Michigan's voter website during the 2020 election.
Mom died in 1995, dad in 1991, and grandma in 2001.
All of them voted Democrat, of course.

@@WilliamPapadopoulos-s9w at the time of the election the state had an active website to check if your mail in ballot had been received and counted. I had all the necessary information for my deceased family to check the website.
I contacted the Michigan secretary of state regarding it, and their response was to state that I would need to submit copies of their death certificates to remove them from the voter rolls for future elections, despite the fact that they'd been given copies years ago when each had passed. I contacted the state police and was told to contact the secretary of state.

Additionally Republicans have held hearing and written legislation to require deceased and relocated voters be removed from voters rolls, but democrats refuse to vote in favor.

That's not true. What happens when people die, the State removes them from the voters roll. I know for sure that RNC has sent out ballots to people whose loved ones have died and people would call in upset because they have gotten ballots of loved ones who were dead and they thought it was the State that sent them out because the State information was on the ballot but the address was the RNC. Every time the State updates the voter roll RNC and DNC has to request a new voter's list for their party.

Rolls can be and are inaccurate. It’s the people who fraudulently vote that should face consequences, and there is no law on the books anywhere to keep people from committing fraud. They only provide penalties if someone does. So you see the current laws work as they are designed to.
