I can see the relief on his face when he starts with anupama chopra style question I'm sure he has done a lot of homework for this i remember 6 to 7 years back he used to comment on others roundtable video to today where he is part of one it feels like personal victory . U know how some feel when India won the cricket, how some feels when bhuvan got his first web series it's exactly the same feeling watching him on this roundtable. I'm not writing about anything that happened in the video kyo a abhi pura dekha hi nahi Hope this will go well.❤❤❤ Lots of love TRP .
This feels so special for you jammy I have been following you on TH-cam from around 2017 so...yay many congratulations you hosting round table feels so personal 🎉🎉🎉❤❤
Jammy sitting there with all these great directors whose films he loves, watches and analyses on his channel feels so wholesome. He conducting this roundtable with them is a result of sheer passion and hardwork, having started from an unconventional career path from youtube which was very new back when he began. Loved this conversation. Many more roundtables to go Jammy !!
Anmol bhai, from random dancing video to analyzing important and deep topic & themes, and now representing Netflix's roundtable, man that is called real achievement. 🙌🎥✨
A suggestion for Jammy - try to bring in all interviewees for most of the questions. It felt like some people spoke a lot for all questions (Homi and Imtiaz - to whom Jammy also specifically directed the questions) and some spoke almost none. It is the job of the host to bring out answers from everyone.
Seeing jammy among so many talented directors and interviewing them feels like personal win. I have been watching him for so many years now, and no one deserves this more than him.
Jammy...so many here are saying it....we feel a sense of pride we would feel for family members....from your Matlab Kuch Bhi content to this interview....always relatable, relevant and well researched. Your hard work will continue taking you places....amazing!!!! So happy for you!
Congrats Jammy @TriedRefusedProductions for the roundstable i have follow you when your subscriber hundered thousand love to see you where u are now May God bless you with more
Tribhuvan Mishra is such a good show. Unfortunately I know we are not getting a second season. The mystery will remain mystery but huge props to makers for giving gem of an album with Tribhuvan Mishra
Firstly I am so happy that Jammy has finally earned that post of being able to host a major roundtable conference. Netflix has indeed chosen a worthy successor to the legacy of Rajeev Masand. So Congratulations Jammy Secondly I feel that some more names deserved to be on this panel Pulkit (Bhakshak) Siddharth P Malhotra (Maharaj) Anubhav Sinha (IC 814) Sanjay Leela Bhansali (Heeramandi)
Just a suggestion for the THR India team.. Plz give us some additional background on the guests as they speak w.r.t their background, trivia and past catalog...esp the relatively unknown guests. Great show btw. Thanks for the upload.
So happy for Jammy… feels like my bro achieving success…i have watched & loved movies of imtiaz, Homi, Motwane & Abhishek over the last decade… but others are new to me… great to know about them too…
I am so happy for Jammy for getting this opportunity but some feedback regarding the roundtable: - The questions were great & so technical. I learned a lot. - Netflix should think about the fact that there was no woman on this panel. - Is it just me or did this one feel a little hurried? Was it the editing? - Did anyone else notice that one of the directors was not credited for the actual show they were here for? - Practice will make perfect I'm sure but it felt like some directors took a lot of the limelight compared to others who weren't speaking as much. Good luck Jammy & looking forward to future roundtables! ❤
A showrunner is the head writer on a TV show. While movies are a director's medium, TV is a writer's medium. So, the showrunner is the top creative on a show. It's their vision. The directors answer to them. Their official title is of a producer, which causes confusion, because all showrunners are producers but not all producers are showrunners. So, you might see five producers in the credits and as a viewer, you won't be able to tell which one of them is the showrunner.
Jammy, boy what a growth. Watching you for so many years and you hosting directors roundtable is awesome. Bigger achievement than Russo brothers interview
Puneet Krishnaji's frank admission of wanting to watch Sadma actually for Silk Smitha and then ending up with getting deeply influenced by Kamal Hassan's awesome performance is really very relatable and quite commendable!!👍🙌🙂
I can imagine it would not have been easy for Jammy. The nerves to be sitting amongst greats and to engage at their level. Great job Jammy, sometimes the nerves were visible 😅 But that's totally understandable! Upwards and onwards 😊😊
Mr Motwane is looking sharp! Mamla Legal Hai is so good! THR India did great when they put together a Technicians Roundtable but for the love of Indian Cinema when are we going to have a Writers' Roundtable? It's about damn time.
One more suggestion the names of the directors and their recent creation should be shown with a small banner as these people are behind the screens and not that familiar faces. This will help us to understand and correalate Also for Netflix this may push people to watch if anyone has missed it
Felt that the conversation moved erratically. Its natural to have that whimsical movement in a drawing room chat. I think the anchor needs to develop a bit more anchoring skills and direct the flow such that the flow at least appears to be logical and not random. For example, after first qs to Imtiaz I would expect a followup on an example of scene which helps him to understand the character of movie and when the conversation moves from shooting on day 1 to Jammy's gripe on theatre vs OTT the transition felt extremely abrupt. This abrupt pattern is consistent through out the interview.
I can see the relief on his face when he starts with anupama chopra style question I'm sure he has done a lot of homework for this i remember 6 to 7 years back he used to comment on others roundtable video to today where he is part of one it feels like personal victory . Jammy as the successor to Rajeev Masand seems so right and well deserved.
oh yeah
Who's Rajeev masand?
Still rough around the edges, but good effort nonetheless!
Why all these critics are meetha 😅😅
Lol
So many great directors but the comments
Jammy Jammy Jammy
Well I’m here for Jammy too

Laal phool neela phool, Jammy bhaiya beautiful! 👏❤️🔥
Awesome. Thank God! Someone asked actual questions which people have interest to listen to!
Lord Jammy said that he could host a roundtable one day. Maybe it was a hint all along
P.S. Sad that it’s a Manel.
Thanks for teaching us words like "manel"
Well...Jammy is there for diversity
Is this a portmanteau of "Man" and "Panel"?
@@nightmayor6114yes
So happy for you Lord Bobbyyyy😭😭😭😭♥️♥️♥️♥️
😂😂
THIS COMMENT MADE ME LAUGH SO MUCH!!! HAHAHA
Mamla legal hain is the best thing happened last year on Netflix.
I agree ….it’s so funny 😂
So true
Amen. I have watched it 5 times. Like no forward or sped up speed. I find it soo entertaining. Lovely light hearted series.
Comfort watch 💛

That show probably had the worst conclusion ever. I am glad a second season is not happening.
The ending was abomination@@BaatMakkhani
Christmas present by Jammy for Jammy!
Anmol🔥🔥..never did I think that the guy I subscribed to in 2017 will be hosting a roundtable for Netflix in 2024..truly feels like a personal victory.
In 30:00 min question Jammy clutched everyone nicely😂😂
I was eagerly waiting for this roundtable when I came to know that jammy is the host. Congrats bro!
Is he only doing with directors ?
That was even more enjoyable then the actors round table. Thanks Jammy great to see you host these.
Good job jammy..very sensible questions ..loved the roundtable
Jammy!!!!! 🎉so happy to see him doing this.
Jammy, big fan of yours. So happy for you!! Thank you Netflix India for making this happen. We need more of this.
Excellent! Would love to see more such discussions.
That 30:00 question put a nervous smile on everyone 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Pulkit (Bhakshak)
Siddharth P Malhotra (Maharaj)
Anubhav Sinha (IC 814)
Sanjay Leela Bhansali (Heeramandi)
Can we also have captions with the director’s name and their movie like in Hollywood Reporter. I dont know all the people and their work this year.
Just a suggestion for the THR India team..
Plz give us some additional background on the guests as they speak w.r.t their background, trivia and past catalog...esp the relatively unknown guests.
Great show btw. Thanks for the upload.
Heart filled joy and happiness
When I see jammy like this
With love from the heart you friend from other side of country
So happy for Jammy… feels like my bro achieving success…i have watched & loved movies of imtiaz, Homi, Motwane & Abhishek over the last decade… but others are new to me… great to know about them too…

Jammy totally nailed it with such intellectual questions. A worthy interviewer. ❤
You can see the nervousness on Jammy’s face a little bit. Awesome Netflix debut, onwards and upwards ❤
Nervous, but nailing it! ❤️🔥
00:25 subway surfers music 😭
Jammy I love that you got this year’s round table 🎉❤ congratulations to you… and keep growing ❤
Ayyeeeee Jammy hosting The Directors’ Roundtable for Netflix -- my brother moving up in the world!!! GG
Kaala Pani and murder Mubarak can't sit on same level no chance
Why? I haven't watched any of the two
@anshul5705 because kaala Pani is a benchmark show and murder Mubarak a disaster which Vijay Verma and pankaj tripathi also couldn't save

I feel so proud of Jammy. Look at how far has he come. 🥰🥰
Jammy jammy jammy ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Jammy, boy what a growth. Watching you for so many years and you hosting directors roundtable is awesome. Bigger achievement than Russo brothers interview
Each person should be given a chance to answer the questions asked! Wanted to hear more of the less famous directors.
Yes for Jammmyyyyyy! 🎉❤
The transition of questions is something Jammy should work on
yup
Puneet Krishnaji's frank admission of wanting to watch Sadma actually for Silk Smitha and then ending up with getting deeply influenced by Kamal Hassan's awesome performance is really very relatable and quite commendable!!👍🙌🙂
So many great director's but I watched this interview for you jammy, that's the connection you have. Keep going 🔥

Jammy!!! So proud of you!!!!
jammy you deserve this man ...i cant see anyone doing roundtable stuff except baddy and anupama ❤ congrats
Wow jammy.. you really are now living your dream.
Mr Motwane is looking sharp! Mamla Legal Hai is so good! THR India did great when they put together a Technicians Roundtable but for the love of Indian Cinema when are we going to have a Writers' Roundtable? It's about damn time.

Seeing Jammy interviewing these directors make it more relatable and it is something which Indian cinema and Netflix keep on bringing such content
Jammy u derserve this, been following u for years now and u are so well articulated and reflected in ur views !! so all power to you
Happy for Jammy❤
The name and title of the artist once they start speaking in the beginning would be helpful
Amazing panel and I love Jammy and have great respect for all the creators here, but you should call it 'Bollywood/Hindi' Directors Roundtable
anmol is getting what he deserves kudos to him and I hope he continues with his purity interviews
This is for jammy 🙌 a true success story ! As for the roundtable - of it’s more of a Netflix 2024 roundtable rather then best directors of 2024
Good conversation enjoyed it well done anmol
Netflix ne same set pe awkward interview bhi shoot kiya.. badiya
Jammy! we are so proud of you
Congratulations jammy🎉
I hope Jammy will always be as passionate, authentic and honest as he is right now … Such an amazing lad !
Wow, jammy. Support from 🇳🇵 Great going
Our boy Jammy is the host..i am so happy for him🎉
A great debut Jammy, the only way to make this better is to also hear more from the non-blockbuster directors next time!
Lord jammyyyyy❤️✨
My boy jammy this looks like a personal win
