      My Model 3 LR is broken I think. Only getting 250km out of 85% soc.

      @@Justfun-xc9oz Well judging from your other short screen-shot video where the app restricts your max charge setting to 64%, I would say there is something wrong with your car. That's probably not degradation you're seeing, it is something else.

      @@Justfun-xc9oz That isn't normal. You have an 8 year warranty so use it. Battery issues are extremely rare and discovered in the first couple year of ownership if they do happen fortunately. Do you mean 250 miles maybe?

    6:09 - Check out the Tesla Plaid Channel. He just uses his Plaid for drag racing. He took out the rear seat and the removable stuff in the trunk. A typical 1/4 mile (0.4 Km) run is 9.2 seconds and 150 MPH (241 KPH) and takes about 3% of the battery or about 3 KW. A 1/8 mile (0.2 Km) run is 6 seconds at 120 MPH (193 KPH) and is 1-2% of the battery. He's only been beaten once by a car that was NOT trailered to the drag strip.

    About the chill in the car. I noticed that as well. But I'm driving a Model 3 LR AWD from 2019.
    What i noticed since the update that introduced the 'low' and higher base setting for the fanspeed (so no more setting number for fan speed), the system uses 'automatic defogging'. Then it directs all air to the front windscreen and not in your face or to your legs.
    When it's colder outside it stays on that defogging setting longer it seems, giving me very cold legs during a drive. Especially when it's freezing outside.
    Do more people notice that?

      Credit where it's due... The auto defogging does a really good job!

      The auto HVAC in Tesla has continually gotten worse over time. They put very little heat on the floor any longer and it’s very annoying. You can clearly tell the engineers do not live or test in a cold climate.
      I also noticed on my 2019 Model 3 that the auto was basically broken. If I didn’t leave it on HI, it would barely heat the car. Tesla gave me the whole “everything is normal” excuse so I gave up and had to control it manually at all times.

    That's absolutely a winter run for me, I mean, we're in Spring, and it's almost the end of May... and you people are still getting days with near freezing temperatures over up there!

    And Tesla does not even has a 800V system yet. I guess with the new platform they will kill charging time of any other verhicle.

    I wonder if auto wipers button gets swapped with the blinkers button will help. Basically left and right blinkers goes to each respective side.

    ...as for the chill in the car - I am sure it was because you got used to Thai climate and now even 22 degrees seem to be cold to you 🤪

    Does it have the latest software update? Auto high beam is fixed at model 3!

    • @Muskar2
      @Muskar2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Really? My Model 3 claims to have the latest (2022.44.30 - Denmark) and it still does pretty much the same as Bjørn showcases. It has been slightly improved over the years (particularly the reaction to opposing drivers) but it still takes about 2 seconds to turn on, turns off to reflective road signs all the time and wants to blind pedestrians in a well lid city with no opposing cars.

    Wouldn’t the aero hubcaps make a significant difference?

    • @bjornnyland
      @bjornnyland  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Nope, not significant. Consumption might be 5-10 Wh/km lower which means 5-10 kWh less energy needed. At 200 kW charging speed, it takes 1.5-3 minutes extra.

    To be honest my Audi also turns off the high beams so late when there is something in betwenn both lanes, like on the Autobahn.
