Hey Mark, I was wondering if you’ve ever heard this song goes the distance by Walter crowd if so, how would you transpose that to a fourth Street cigar box guitar tuning open G or what tuning would you use? Thank you very much.
Thanks ...I play this in D, so you play it open, then 3rd fret barre F333 and the C would be 535 , the the charlie pulled the hammer part would be F, G ,A or 333, 555, 777 Try it out...you can do it!
I gotta admit ... that's pretty cool! But, I'd recognize that goatee anywhere Martin Barre, disguising your voice! What's the tuning on that 1/2 split guitar neck anyway?
The one in this video, yes. I have fretless lessons as well. Check my playlist “fretless classic rock lessons” and “fretless songs lessons” there’s lots of content there
Uncle Mark, another awesome lesson! May I make a tiny suggestion? For the beginners... you keep showing them the names of the notes that correspond with the frets. Perhaps explain that there is a half tone between B to C and E to F, all others are a full tone or two frets. That way they figure out the power chords and individual notes. Anyway, thanks for sharing the love.
I love it. It's very articulate. I can overdrive my small ( 5 to 7 watts) tube amps with the vol dimed and back off and get some nice cleans. Thanks for watching and subscribing.
Awesome Mark! Your lessons are ALL first rate! Thanks! Who is the maker of your CBG? I think you had mentioned it in one of your videos but I forget which one. Hope all who are profiting from lessons are visiting the TIP jar!! Your expertise is worthy of support!

From one guiyar teacher to another, I like the way you explain the mute strum. Many students struggle to get the right touch.
Thank you for the kind words
