I really enjoy watching your casual personable style CBG lessons. I always wished I could play a musical instrument and tried the Tenor Banjo back in the Folk Music era of the 60's! Barely passable and never really good at it! I believe truly it's a God given gift. However, I found the CBG during the pandemic and alas I perform some questionable concerts in private for me and my best friend ...my dog Billy Joel! He can't play the piano either ...but we have fun! At least ....I do! He's adopted and came with that name 5 years ago on Father's Day from Dallas,TX. So I want to thank you for what you do so well. Bill Retired NYPD Detective 👍
Who doesn’t love a bit (a whole LOT for me) of some Keith riffing and Mick “The Lips” Jagger swagger?! You knocked this one a hundred miles outside of the stadium! Love this and I definitely need to learn it. Thanks and stay awesome my friend.
Just purchased a cigar box, never played guitar before, however I find your presentation very easy to follow, I'm guessing it's all practice from now on, thanks man keep up the good work..
Hi Mike. Thanks for inspiring me to improve my playing skills on my Cigar box guitars, You have the best how to videos on U-Tube. This one is my Favorite . Keep em comming Pal !
Great video thanks. Any chance, please, of an additional video going very slowly through the embellishments you add to the chord sequence? Thanks, and regards from Yorkshire.
Great lesson and video Mike, and Happy TST! I see you play the Cohiba three string alot in your videos. Is that your personal CBG? Is that size of Cohiba box your favorite to work with? What size are the three sound holes in your CBG?
May sound bit daft, but how many times is each chord strummed? As a beginner its not easy for me to see or count. Great helpfull video its got me playing sort of. ! 🙂
