I lost a job telling the clinic I had to go to for the urinalysis and physical that I was on this. Had me in a really bad spot, put in the two weeks at the other job, left to start the one that denied me because of my medication. Found myself jobless, went into a depression.
Yes, I just left a comment on another video from the same TH-camrs recommending that they divulge this to potential employers. Bad idea. Keep your private business separate from employers especially when it is highly unlikely to show up on a drug screen anyway.
@Vanman Mike update from last post. I ended up spending all of my savings while trying to find other employment with the trades and credentials I had. I was down to my last month of money which was in December of 2022 and finally found employment with a company that accepted me with the medication I take. Was completely honest with them and the clinic about it. Although I did plan for using someone else's urine, ( I was desperate and do not recommend this) last minute I decided against it. It's now March 25th and I'm working for a company that has been such a blessing and treats me and all its employees like family. Unfortunately I'm still taking the medication and I know there's no date I can see in the near or possible future to get off of it but I'm happily employed and healthy. There are some places out there that will accept this type of medication even in the oil field business in which I work. It may be rare. I will say this and this is from my experience only, do not get on this medication unless you feel you absolutely have to and even then stray from long term use because it's effects coming off of it is far more longer than the actual drug you're trying to withdrawl and minimize symptoms from. Youre looking at least a 4 month cycle at minimum coming off of subutex( buprenorphone).
Google protections for suboxone patients. It's absolutely illegal and a 100% slam dunk of a lawsuit if you were denied a job because of your suboxone prescription. They've already passed laws and you're legally protected from discrimination because of suboxone specifically. Make them pay for their bs!
I have a cdl and bout to start on suboxone and start a job does suboxone come up on a dot drug screen they do a 5 panel in a lab please let me know I love my cdl
How did you turn out I’m gonna start taking some to try to get off these goddamn pills but I’m ok if I get tested for pills because of my script is legit but the suboxone isn’t a script was given to me to try it will I get popped if I have a pisser at work ???? And I believe I have a 5 panel
You have absolutely no reason to have to tell them about your medical standings or conditions or medications. It's illegal for them to even ask. Let alone not hire or fire because of it. Sue them

Can a small piece show up on a test , like a little piece 2% if that maybe smaller
Yes, it will, if specifically tested for buprenorphine (SUBOXONE).

On a 5 panel test, suboxone does not show up. Typically has to be 12 or more panels
