Also, I remember there's the "Sonic ERaZor" romhack which attracts any rings to your shield, including the ones you just dropped. I know it's kind of out of context, but eh, I just said that because I remember how much attracted was that romhack to the ring magnetics, especially in earlier versions, where it would drag many rings even from out of boundaries of your screen.

It's called SONIC CLASSIC HEROES! "This hack allows you to play as 3 characters simultaneously through all of Sonic 1 and Sonic 2."
You can change the sound track for Sonic CD by going into the game on classic or anniversary mode, at the title screen for the game where it says Press Start move to the right and you'll see other options, once you find the Soundtrack press ok or X or whatever button for Enter you can swap between the US or JP soundtrack, by changing it here you can hear a different soundtrack in Mission mode as well as Classic or Anniversary!

In the level select for Sonic 1, 2, and 3 you can put in this code in the sound test, 4-1-2-6 and then get 50 rings in a level and then jump and press X (on the Switch version) to get SUPER SONIC. And if you go in Sonic 3 and put in the code twice and then do that stuff, you get HYPER SONIC.
Eggman normally took three damages he was done it was even a similar thing with the flash version. I remember you would hit him the first times and during those first two times say with the egg record / spinning egg he would swing it very slowly and then when it was his last hit to kill him it was going really fast around him. See you had to time in the next hit and you are running on an endless path so the ground was moving so you had to really control your sonic character catch up to eggy. It only had two bosses to my knowledge this egg wrecker and then there was a snowy section where he dropped bombs and it was they called it the egg bomber. That too also when you had to hit him the final hit he would drop the bombs at a faster rate so once again timing was key
Tip To Get All The Chaos Emeralds Step 1: Unlock The Level Select (You Know Sonic 1's Level Select Code) Sonic 2: up up down down left right left right
The fact they fixed the tiniest detail about knuckles shoes were because in the original they were yellow in cutscenes but green when you play as him but they changed it back to green

@@Mairusu In Mania you can unlock Blue Spheres in Extra page by collecting all of the golden medals in Blue Spheres of Story Mode/Encore Mode. It has two modes: Classic - special stages with OG spheres (blue, red, yellow and star bumper), and Mania - new stages with newly added green spheres which are turning blue upon collecting and purple, which just warp you around the map.
Here's a tip by the way whenever you're inside of the stage select go to the sound / music test then play 4126 and you should unlock all the chaos emeralds if it isn't that code someone will probably say it
