As a Licensed Master Plumber this hurts to look at, so many code violations but thanks for giving me the general idea, going to be seeking a CAD and Revit course applying my field, code, and 10 years worth of experience into these programs to advance my career and make more money
If you click a 90 degree bend, it will show you some small plusses. Click one of the plusses and you'll get a tee. That way you can continue your pipes.
Thanks, but please next time consider that sanitary sewage needs slope. Also, connections have rules (like 45 angle required in-plane sanitary piping).
Muy interesante tu vídeo, me sirvió mucho para practicar y realizar las instalaciones hidro-sanitarias, estaré pendiente de nuevos vídeos. Que la pases bien
Hi, to complete the project of the sewage piping system, the siphon families are missing to block sewer air exhalations. I'd like to see them in a next video. Thank you
I am a licensed contractor, and this diagram will NOT pass code inspection. No vents, toilet drain angles in a backwards loop which will cause it to clog, sink drain not inside the wall... etc. and this is just a quick list of problems. The vid is useful for how to use Revit, but you need more plumbing knowledge so that ppl don't make drawings that will not work in the real world.
my workplace, does not have a sink as a fixture, instead it has a piece of PVC placed underneath a Sink on Revit link. and thats my drain fixture for the sink
First, you need to load fittings families for the pipe (e.g. US metric - pipe - fittings - generic (or which you want) - pick everything (elbows, tees, crosses, transitions...). Plus, try to make pipe from sanitary fixture perpendicularly (from closet, sink - straight down a bit, not horizontally, and then in XY direction). AND don't forget chose pipe - Properties - edit type - Routing preferences Edit - now in "content" chose your elbows, tees, transitions... AND change min. size to "All"
I;'m having issues. I have opened a Mechanical doc and imported the bathroom doc into it. So far all good. The bit I get stuck on is importing the toilet as I can't seem to place it as the walls etc are not accessible for me. They show up but are not part of the file just an overlay. How do I change this so that they can host elements?
Good Day. while making my plumbing plan and loading some PVC pipes in my project. It seems that PVC pipes in my Pipe Segment is not present. What Can i do so that i can change my pipe segment to PVC? thank you
But the part about plumbing is really not helpful. I don't want to point out the mistakes here, but Balkan Architect, you are welcome to contact me if you want some pointers for another video.
@@UCapzEjUWyv7H4GtPQrgybTQ why do you don't use a water trap (bottle trap/ p trap ...) to washbasins or sinks? Also, should not we use a good vent for those?
I've been struggling so much with this. To begin with, I just placed one wc fixture and clicked the create pipe icon next to it but Revit really won't let me route pipe from it. What's wrong?
Setting planes in links, aint easy. and to lay pipe you need to set planes..So, I'm getting alot of that "gray circle' with a line through it. no plane set.
I think you need to have proper families loaded in, like an elbow connector to create the connection automatically. If you have that and still does not work, then maybe you do not have the ''automatically connect'' option selected.

You are not alone😂
Hahaha same!!!
Thank You for all your
tutorials for beginners. It Helps a lot!
Very helpful and good explanation. Please keep making these MEP tutorials (HVAC, ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING) THANK YOU.

Great tutorial on Revit. Very concise and easy. Thank you very much.
Good video for bigners of plumbing
The best of tutors in youtube . thnx bro 🎩🎩

Thank u so much best lecturer that I have ever seen at youtube tutorial about Revit Architectural.
You should use slope in sanitary Pipe like 1% or 0.5%
Excellent info by best possible way.Thanksa lot
Thank you so much. It is very helpful...
thank u 4 ur usefull tutorial
Thanks for video
Please make more videos on plumbing
Thanks it is very nice

Weldone work balkan architect, always amazing tutorial 👍
Thanks man! Your videos are much very easy to grasp. Keep it up!
Pretty great.
Thanks a lot..... Have a nice and Happy life
Please make a video on ''how to prepare final report on revit.
Hey
I love this!! Thanks

Thank you very much. One request is that please provide the fire fighting connection that are being provided within a building.

you right, however this is a tutorial useful for how to use mep revit, that´s all. greetings
Same here, agreed it’s atrocious but for a 13 minute video, we can take it from there.
It's new; thanks
Thank you
But I want to explain how you can draw architecture wall in template mechanical.
Please
Hi director thanks for ur good wrk but we need more on the mep plumbing

It was helpfull, Thanks a lot
Good day question when you do the bathroom in 3D can you see the pipes in floor plan
Hi can you provide the link for the templates?
Please I thought you will share the linked Project file with us. For us to learn the entire process.
Thank you.
I love your videos. Can these MEP and electrical be done on Revit 19? I don’t have Revit MEP or electrical.
Thank you for your support to us, can we get schedules for generic model
Is the same details are used for pre cast concrete elements too
hot water pipe should go always above cold water
Your videos great .some of us do have drawings all ready downloaded .I'm new to this .You could show where to get models at
Thanks. Could you explain what are those errors that keep popping up from Revit?
Bro mep mechanical engineer related video podunga
Can't create this pipe.. revit says that it couldn't find a routing for the fixture.. this warning ain't being ignored..

Make sure you're using the mechanical template and load the connections and fittings as shown and replied above
@@vasyll7631 God Bless u !
Are these families available in default metric library with the necessary plumbing features like hot and water line layouts?

How to download these families from your patreon? is it only available if i become one of your patron?
Someone help, my pipes don't automatically connect like this, what do I need to for this to happen

Aren't Mechanical Engineers responsible for things like plumbing and HVAC?
yeah we are
😪 any one can do this bro..... if you know indepth show pipe routing preference in detail..... 💪
May not follow this for a compliant installation. General use ok but so much wrong it’s not worth it.
Very frustrating. Beginner but let me just insert a drawing and start from there. Wtf
You're not a engineer...
Disgusting
