Oh wow....david letterman ☺️glad you posted this 😊 and their discussion about the police force and the very difficult job they have and do .. and yes there are bad apples in the bunch but on the whole they do a fantastic job and it's very unpopular and dangerous....it's very sad that he didn't get to go on with his role very long
This video I had to edit some. the show is 1hr. long and the tape I have of it is 28 mins. long. But my camera only takes 24 min. videos. There's 2 more videos posted. One is in b/w & the other one is in color the sound & the mouth looks like it's in slow motion. And they didn't have all of David in it.

Has more with Erik Estrada, David Letterman & Melinda Naud that the other two videos don't. And I try to get everything on David.I have this whole show on DVD which I took part from the DVD.
I also had the impression that he was much more modest and eloquent in his most popular phase than he was later. Even here, I find, is a break from how it was seen until 1977. And the description that the older he got, the more exaggerated he seemed to be - more like a parody of himself - is very well observed and expressed. I share this impression and also consider drug abuse to be the reason. Nevertheless, I don't remember David Cassidy as he finally became in his much later years from the age of 60, more and more like a parody of himself and judged by drugs, but the way he became famous, with this radiance, with this incredibly beautiful voice of velvet and his laugh of light. RIP, you were loved and revered.

He was humble and articulate here. He seemed to be more over the top - more like a parody of himself as he aged, maybe it was the substance abuse.
