It is simply the best for you, for the animals and for the planet. Brainwashed people will think that the truth is biased.
      For me, I healed myself from heart disease with it. The doctors would have told me that I should take toxic medications and wait until I'm dead. So it would be really fucking hard to convince me that the plant based diet is overrated!!!! REALLY FUCKING HARD

Eating "meat" and "chicken" because the "taste though" sounds really stupid. Needn't I have to even mention. And certainly eating meat can't be a matter of choice as the poor animals don't get left with any choice to begin with. They don't choose to be on your plate. What difference is there from eating dog and cat meat to other animal meat?

I know you decided to make the transition because it'd be easier on your knees, but I recently decided to make the switch a couple months ago and have experienced a great increase in leg development and strength on the squat. (I did this mainly to ensure all my squat reps are kept consistent). Do you think the pause squat is superior to the regular squat for overall strength and muscular development?

    Ethical reason is the best reason, nobody can argue about how you feel about things convincingly. With other stuff you can still argue, be it right or wrong, but "I want to, because I like it better" is something you can't take away from a person.
    The only thing I can come up "against" veganism (more like practical hurdle) is having some digestion issue like IBS that greatly limits your available plant based foods. It limits your protein sources and enjoyable and convenient foods. I tried to increase plant based material in my diet (I was already consuming a pretty healthy amount), but quickly noticed I don't tolerate some things very well (I did already know this with many more common options that I used to like eating). It's a bit sad thing, because I'm open to having more plant based foods, but the discomfort versus enjoyment factor is sometimes rough. But on the good side I have managed to push the ratio more towards plant based foods and found new dishes and ingredients I enjoy, and include some plant based protein sources in my mixed diet and reminding myself that I enjoy fruits greatly, which has been great for me. Having constant amount of veggies and fruits in the diet does help my IBS (perhaps the amount of fiber and amount of water in the food plays a role) and makes my daily life more enjoyable. So ironically the same thing improves and worsens life quality at the same time, just depending on what details you change.

    Clarence I believe that scientists have confirmed that many plants have nerves (obviously not as developed as animals). If this is the case than do you believe that the "pain" and poor living conditions of plants do not matter as much as animals? I'm sure you've thought of this already but I'd be interested to see what you think

    • @aidanearl
      @aidanearl 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Don Clark Do you have any links to peer reviewed studies on this subject? If plants have feelings there would still be fewer plants killed eating a vegan diet as there would be eating a diet of animal products. The animals have to eat something.

    So you ever use or have you ever used specialty bars for squats, bench or deadlifts such as trap bars, safety squat bars, football bars, cambered bars, etc? Do you have any opinion on their use in any lifting program?

    @clarence0 When you say back squats, do you mean low bar back squats? I've noticed your squat is kind of a hybrid between the low bar and high bar. Your back seems very horizontal for a low bar squat, but you seem to utilize the posterior chain and drive the concentric movement with your hips. Also, why ass to grass and not just below parallel? thanks.

    you're vegan?! when are you going to convert Omar? j/k. I think the reason many experience a difference after switching is because they come from a very unhealthy diet and going vegan, especially whole foods plant based vegan is so much healthier than the standard/fast food diet. Being an athlete you probably already ate healthy.

    4:02 I'm a little shocked. It's the first time I hear someone say the front squat is a more TAXING exercise than the back squat, and the person who sad it wasn't a rando, but C. freaking K.
    Usually it's the other way around, with the front squat possibly used as a lighter squat day.
    Can anyone care to help me understand?
    Thank you.

    • @bubblesthemonkey6615
      @bubblesthemonkey6615 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The front squat requires more core stability. The rack position requires a ton of core activation to maintain, which is why most people can pack squat much more than they can front squat.
