Let me know if you have any hacks that help you travel with a scooter.

One thing I forgot to mention, is to take a picture of your scooter before you check it in, that way you have proof it gets damaged.

I wish I had had a video like this when I started using scooter. I wasted a lot of money on rentals instead of my own. Travelled fo years in airport by wheel chair and rented scooter on arrival at destination. I had someone in front of me at plane door with scooter and then found I could take one on plane.
    Thx again Jen!!!

The picture of your chair/scooter is such a perfect one. After having my scooter broke twice I will be taking pictures before. Lucky that I saw they were broke when brought up to gate when getting off and time pictures. Both times airlines great in fixing. No complaints there

I meant to put that in the video, but I forgot and then posted it without.

Folding scooters you can ride all the way to the gate. They will check it in at the gate.

I wonder where the scooter is safer from getting broken during handling, at the gate or baggage check?

I do not know the answer to that question. Both have risks, but having the scooter at the gate is much easier. We used a Whill C2 on our last trip and it gate checked without any issue.
