Thomas! Josh's song is amazing. I listen to it with my daughter all the time. I'm not going full microbes but a healthy mix of them because I live on the water and their products just make me sense to me for the environment. I have some sweet product reviews I'm doing over summer. All battery baby!
soil microbes are a good addition to a fertilizer program for lawn or garden. some people may think that I'm saying this is all you need, these are just more tools to achieve healthy soil. it's where it all began🤷♀️. Just my thought, I'm not a scientist, just some dood trying to do my part!
Great information. This is something I can spend my money on. Liquid aerator on the other hand, I still need to be convinced to spend money on that one.
I would use Liquid aeration only before I was going to have mechanical aeration done to soften up the ground. That stuff is just a water retainer right?
@@DadStuff247 that’s pretty much what I understand. I think it’s probably good for people who don’t have an irrigation system but if you have an irrigation system and water frequently I don’t see the need for liquid aeration. Mechanical aeration should work just fine I would imagine
Awesome video man, the only problem with this product is the soil microbes don’t have a very long shelf. Meaning some of the microbial activity is dead as it sits in a bottle on a shelf. But it is a good product , and great video. Keep up the great content 👍
Great info and editing. It's like anything else. The best way to go about lawn care is with balance. Using best cultural practices along with proper amendments working together to achieve the best lawn you can. No one product or products will accomplish this as some people might think. It would be like taking medication for high cholesterol and then eating anything you want. Doesn't work that way 😁
Some have mentioned that thatch buster product runs out quickly in a hose end spayer, and recommeded a backpack sprayer. How much of the product would you need to mix with a gallon of water ?
I only aerate when there is Compaction. If there is a lot of standing water and what not. I am doing my back and side yard this year but not the front because i dont have those issues. I have had disease issues because of to much thatch build up. I dethatched the front the other day and was not ripping up much because i was using the thatch buster religiously last year on it.
I agree with this except the choice not to bag. On other media you mentioned Poa annua and because it flowers and seeds all the time, I think your increasing that problem by leaving those seeds on the turf.
I'm removing that stuff so it doesn't spread! I'm not against bagging at all. if I go on vacation and come back I'm going to bag for sure. But I want to really go for it with this product and see how much thatch I can pull out at the end of the season. Bagging makes the best stripes
@@DadStuff247 Ok. It seems that the typical seeding with regular lawn seeds you are not recommending. Any recommendations on what type of lawn booster I can use?
@Eric Reeves th-cam.com/video/_glZH7QadBo/w-d-xo.html This is their other product i use when i do lawn renovations when seeding. Loaded with phosphorus unlocking properties to use you soil nutrients to inoculate the seed.
They call for early spring and fall. I'll be spoon feeding all season though because I am going to be returning the clippings. I don't see Harm in adding in some good Bacteria all the time. All the products say 4-6 weeks but the 360 program says spring and fall.
We will see this fall how much I pull out of the lawn. I'll tell you this, with this and root booster I have never had so many worms in my lawn and the birds are just crazy. My lawn seems to be more active. Plus I haven't had any disease!
Whats not that bad? Dethatching? I find it fun. This product is more for the microbial effect you get by adding them in to break down your thatch that is with holding nutrients.
great video how often you put in down during the year
It's become a ritual for me to listen to that song at the start of every mow lol. Also love the direction you're taking the channel!

the outro song is on another level, man!!!!
That is good Ole Joshua Melton! the song is fire!
Awesome video! I’m excited to introduce these microbes into my lawn this season!
Best video ever
I'm putting more time into each video now opposed to quantity. still just ok
This was the best thatch video
Thank you. I did a lot of research on it. I have been using the thatch buster and did a light scarifier the other day and barley anything came up!
Love seeing you getting a little more into the science for the lawn! You know I love some good science
yes I do you nerd! I'm loving it. when you buy your first house I'll be there!
Great job Clint. This was a great video you put together. I will be using their products in my backyard this season.

On the thatch buster label is has a note that says "May Casue Staining" what does that mean and what does that look like ?
On cement. Or maybe a deck. Just hose it off right away and its gone. It is a brown color
I like this!
Eddie! I'm loving these products. I eneded my season with then and the activity in my soil is crazy!
Can I use with fertilizer/Herbicide Pre & Early Post Emergent Control at same time?
100% you can task mix

Love the videos wish it would warm up here so I could get my lawn going. I got the new battery powered sun joe that I'm itching to try!!!
Thanks Tim! What battery powered to is it? Dethatcher?

100% Keith. I'm trying to use the best of both worlds. Adding soil microbes with modern day farming fertilizers. I'm so excited!

Would it help with clay soil
It definitely won't hurt. But to loosen it up i bet some hydro holder would really help

4-6 oz per gallon per 1000sq. I like the hose end being fast. You can actuality see the product come out so i move faster!

I just ran across your video. Can I oversees with this? Or should I spray this down first then overawed after about 4-6 weeks?
*overseed
I would recommend root booster to over seed with but this will not harm it. It is just soil microbes
