I've been to the home in 2015 during the anniversary time of Elvis and Priscilla. It was a weekend with 2 different Elvis impersonators and a nice lunch on Sunday around the pool. It was a weekend I'll never forget. Lovely home.

Hi Steve ! While on vacation en route to Niagara Falls, we stopped off in Graceland and toured it. The estate has 60’s decor and still well preserved and maintained. The car museum which houses his limousines , John Deere tractor and golf kart and Mother’s Pink Cadillac are a sight to see. Elvis’s Mom Gladys would drive her coveted Cadillac around the 11 acre estate on the driveway that circles the property. Elvis loved his Mom and would spend countless hours teaching her how to drive. The Lisa Marie and another passenger jet are also kept there for visitors to tour and are in pristine condition with amenities and luxuries from yesteryear.

Thank you from NZ. I loved Liberace"s post box, and I saw his collection of minerture pianos on you tube, when he was showing his collection, and I think it was in that house. Elvis Presley's house would have been really flash back in the 70s, and I guess the road would have been more private.

I usually bring lots of water in my car with me, but on this day I was walking and a long distance away from my car and forgot to bring water with me. Not very smart, here in the desert. Many people die from dehydration here, every year. Thanks for the reminder, Crystal!

During the 2020 boring pandemic, I started looking at real estate in Palm Springs. The mid century homes sparked an interest in me. There is an architect in Palm Springs that will build you a mid century home all it takes is a lot of money.
I did find a new neighborhood that was going to be developed. All the homes were going to be mid century modern and they all Included swimming pools. They were small homes 1400 to 1800 Square feet. This development still hasn’t been built, it’s on Rosa Parks Road. Nearby is a giant newer community but right across the street is a very old neighborhood.
My wife didn’t like the fact that there Was a old rundown neighborhood across the street.
I didn’t mind, after the entire track was built there would be a wall around the whole perimeter and you could not see the old neighborhood.
After looking At the location of the development we decided to take a driving tour to look at Elvis’s two homes and Liberace’s home. The Home Elvis actually owned. I can see why he purchased it, you can’t see the backyard from the street and the street is so narrow there was no where to park. After doing a car tour of the houses we ate at a Mexican restaurant in Palm Springs.
We stopped at Cabazon outlets. What a mistake the place was packed. All we did there was charge our Tesla and then headed home. It was too unsafe in the middle of a pandemic to visit shops. I’ve never seen so many people at the Cabazon outlets. Can’t blame them there was nothing else to do.

I always had a lot on interest in the celebrity history of Palm Springs. Never been, will prob never get a chance, so I appreciated your walking tour. I've seen photos, but nothing to put the location into context. The heat there would kill me! Just as an aside, I wonder how many of those mansion dwellers, esp in the early days, had problems with rattlesnakes on/in their property? But that was the price they paid for privacy, I suppose.

I didn't know that Elvis lived anywhere besides Memphis the last thing I had heard anything having to do with Elvis was an interview and tour with Priscilla where she was showing the new hotel and spa she had build on the grounds of Graceland that was a carbon copy of the house with the expection the people visiting could stay there.

Yes, he loved Palm Springs and had homes here for decades. I didn't know there was a hotel there. I hope to visit Graceland next year. Maybe I'll stay there. Thanks for the heads up.

I know there didn't used to be a hotel there it's fairly new. So that the fans can experience what their life was like living there.

@@TheGraveyardChannel Steve, I was an Elvis Presley fan growing-up, so I took the opportunity to tour Graceland in 1998. You're given an extensive tour before being taken to his grave site. It was quite the experience. I think it's safe to say that you will enjoy your visit.

Steve Stewart Elvis, Priscilla and most of the guys did the math and figured Lisa Marie was conceived at the Circle G ranch where the newlyweds went before heading off to Palm Springs for their brief honeymoon.

I walk 40 miles a day . but i could not walk when it's to hot as i collapse with the heat. I was worried you might collapse. As it looks very hot. The street is very beautiful it looks like it has been built on a desert.

Palm Springs is a desert. And I’m learning not to walk when it’s that hot anymore. Sometimes I forget how old I am and I have to keep reminding myself 🥵

his house or compound is very private and you can't get close enough to see anything. i'm not even sure where his gate is. but even if you could, since he still lives there I wouldn't want to invade his privacy. I only visit graves and memorials and historic spots. living legends still need their privacy. thanks, cindy.
