This channel is the best and most most reliable channel for travel preparation. I went to Italy last year and watched every video multiple times and it paid off. I am doing the same right now for my upcoming trip to Morocco and Spain. All the best.
Beautiful!! Morocco is on our to visit list. We can't wait to travel again!! In the meantime we are exploring Qatar as much as we can. Hope your son is feeling better!
If you want to visit Casablanca rent in airbnb in Marina Casablanca because it's Wonderful place and near to the Hassan II mosque mall, reks cafe, african market, old medina, art deco, casaport train station etc.
I went to Casablanca on train from Marrakesh for a day to see the Hassan II Mosque and walked around the Corniche for a bit before heading back to Marrakesh. I'm a Muslim from England so I was fortunate to visit and pray in these mosques
I´ve been once to Casablanca and I LOVED IT...pity because, people that have been there kept telling me that it´s not a great place to visit....they were so WRONG fortunately!!
Casa is so big that people will be in différent places and have different expériences. There is place in the city that are very beautifull and modern other parts are shit
I'm from beni mellal which a small city in morocco but casablanca for me is the BEST & the BEAST !! like any other big cities in the world 🌎 dirty, expensive, noisy, exciting, and more... I love you casanegra from Chicago 🏴☠️
We hadn't even heard of Casablanca before watching this but we just added it to our travel list 😄 looks great there! Thank you for all your helpful tips!!
Hey! I was wondering what the best place to go in France is for a day or two? My first choice was Paris, but I've had people tell me it's not all that & there's better places to go in France :)

I have been to Casablanca and I found it a very racist place. Most of the streets are crowded and somewhat rundown, but alongside the poor areas are large posh hotels. I walked up to the entrance to all of the posh hotels to see what they were like. Every single one of them had very strict security at the font. But at every single one security opened the door and welcomed me in without checking who I was. It became very obvious that security was only there to keep the locals out of the posh hotels and any white foreigners are welcomed into all hotels even if they are not staying there.
It is a big class and economic separation. Its a second world country so there is modern things like the trains/ trams, modern hotels, and then there is serious third world poverty with crowded apartments of poor locals, dirty streets, no ADA standards, and starving street people... give them your change.
It's a pity you didn't mention the art deco buildings (the French architecture)...maybe you didn't get to see them? Also some monuments like the Mahkama du Pacha, the Sacré-Coeur cathedral, the Sqala, etc. would be worth visiting too! Otherwise, kudos for the positive vibes :-)
I went on a coach trip from Agadir to Tarodant about 20 years ago. Even the major road crossing did not have traffic lights or road markings. The coach drivers used to play chicken with each other at the junctions.
Would y'all wanna visit Morocco, specifically Casablanca if the 40s movie wasn't popular ? Tell the truth... There's also a movie called " Detroit "... LOL
I already visited more than 8 moroccan cities in the past 16 years. And Morocco is very safe if you ask me. The worst thing that can happen is that your pocket gets stolen when you're in a major city or market. But that can easy happen anywhere else in the world. Things like armoured robbery, kidnappings or even terrorism like in other parts of Africa doesn't exist in Morocco. So Morocco is probably one of the safest places in whole Africa if you ask me.
Not really there is an awesome nightlife , a lot of restaurants , shops , the cornich is beatifull and clean, the gouvernement doesn't promote it as a tourist destination because it's already so crowded and it makes the most money anyway, so you will not know where to go.
I made the mistake of staying a week in Casablanca. I was bored out of my mind. Someone from Marrakech told me that Casablanca is a place that you only spend half a day in. Marrakech is touristy, but there are way more things to do and see there.
So why post? I have been and loved it, it's what I like to call 'real' Morocco, I would say that it's 'interesting'. Mark is right a visit to the Hassan II mosque is worth the visit in itself. Open your mind a bit.
Then just keep scrolling, ignore this video, and move on. Take your closed mind to another channel. This one is wholesome and we want to keep it that way.

Is this pre-covid?
I had forgotten how crazy Moroccan drivers are. That clip at 4:31 reminded me haha.

It's the "Corniche", not "Cornish" (as in 'of Cornwall' in England)!

Casablanca is definitly very modern , tourists wants to see very old stuff , it's ok just know that most moroccan don't live in a 1750 lifestyle
Liam ran into a pole? 😳 You’ve shared many “travel accident” stories over the years but haven’t heard that one yet.
Can you wear socks in the mosque or take some indoor slippers?
Yes you can wear socks, but no slippers.
You can wear socks, just no slippers.
Come to morocco Sahara
