I am SO happy you included Tangerine Rays 🔥. Zedds definitely deserves some credit for his new album this year, and Tangerine Rays is definitely his best work from it 🎉
The most random thing that I stumbled upon recently was learning that the mixing enginner that did the mix for "Guess" also did the mix for "Thick of It". This is just something I found fascinating for some strange reason.
Gotta say I love when Virtual Riot gets the love he deserves, this year was his year for his Stealing Fire album and the Simulation DLC Skybreak also had a great year and even when Comet was an absolute banger its not my favorite of the year Not when Euphoria Rush and Mothman were my favorites And my top 10 would be 10.- No Tomorrow - Jason Ross 9.- Chromatically - Haywyre 8.- Hit The Ground - No Mana 7.- Believe What You Want - Virtual Riot 6.- SMSOU - Eliminate 5.- Russian Roulette - Porter Robinson 4.- Trust - Sora & Astrocyte 3.- Our Stars - THIRST 2.- Forest Interlude - Dyatic 1.- Open Ur Eye - REZZ & Cyclops
looove the Nokae shoutout. Been a fan for five years and it’s nice to see him start to get the recognition he deserves. Met him earlier this year, super cool guy. Kora’s amazing too.
I was so happy to see Neverender being nominated for a Grammy some time ago, it’s such an amazing song and kind of embodies my current music taste as of now, the rest of the list is also great
Great list! Here's mine. 10. Jason Ross, Fairlane - Wake Up 9. Far Out - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger 8. Morgan Page, MorganJ, CloudNone - Water 7. Teminite - Yours 6. Skybreak, Keepsake - Comet 5. Blanke, Grant, your friend polly - Heavy Heart 4. Hurtwave - Satin Sheets 3. The Midnight - Chariot 2. Porter Robinson - Cheerleader 1. The Strike - The Getaway
I absolutely adore both the Vylet Pony Albums from this year but really wasn't sure if there would be a Girls Who Are Wizards song in here, what a nice surprise! Great picks overall, your videos are always amazing, keep it up :)
What a diverse list from the underground to known ones, i like you giving recognition to them! 2024 has a lot of bangers, hoping this year will have so much better bangers :)
Thank you for this list! Because of this video, I added that Vylet Pony song and a couple others from that album. To say I’m not a fan of modern dubstep is a huge understatement, but that song is basically a callback to classic brostep in all the best ways. I just wish it had different branding lmao. And Tangerine Rays is a great pick that is also in my top 150 songs of 2024 list! My top 20 favorite songs of 2024: 1. deadmau5 - Re_Jaded 2. JERIKO - Now or Never 3. Martin Garrix & Third Party - Carry You (Andune Remix) 4. Fazius - Sweet Company 5. Zedd - Out of Time 6. Porter Robinson - Is There Really No Happiness? 7. Tobu - Faster 8. Myon - The Art of Oleka 9. Alan Crown - Eden 10. Jason Ross - Divergence 11. SixthSense - Axis Mundi 12. MitiS & Abandoned - Another Day 13. Beatcore - Cage 14. CLMD - Black Eyes & Blue (JERIKO Bootleg) 15. Mox Jade & Dimatis - The Songs of Yesterday 16. Mox Jade & Dimatis - The Songs of Yesterday (DRECHO Remix) 17. Marcus Mouya - Surrender 18. Melchi - Stay Here (Roald Velden Remix) 19. Sunlight Project - Golden Autumn 20. Sultan + Shepard - Waking Life
Great reviews and great production for this series as always! As a fellow videographer I’m incredibly jealous of the space you have to make these fun top ten videos 😄 Here’s to an insane 2024 and an incredible 2025 🥂🎉
This is an awesome list, and I really like the Effort that goes into your Videos. I haven't thought of a specific top 10 for 2024, but Composite by Voltra would be number 1, and Lapse by Sleepnet would also be somewhere on there xD.
Awesome video, great quality and cool critiques and breakdown! 100% agree with "Guess." But the list does feel overall more hyperpop focused. I'd totally love to see 2 lists from you: one that's fitting your personal tastes like this vid, and one that includes a few more genre picks from top tracks. For example, I'd argue that Dom Dolla's "Girls" was huge this year, and a pretty fun track. I also feel like John Summit had a monster year. "Where You Are" is probably bigger, but I personally liked the collab with Sub Focus "Go Back," since it is a good example of how drum & bass has entered mainstream. Supporting evidence: Chase & Status's "Baddadan" was everywhere in 2024 (although it was a 23 release).
I think the list is fine as-is. There tends to be some samey-ness on other people's electronic lists where everyone is listing John Summit, NERO, etc. and another side where everyone is listing iglooghost, aphex twin and more ambient and/or obscure stuff. This list tends to steer more towards Monstercat adjacents that others miss out on while it still considers the pop and electronic side of things.
@@ImmortalSkyline Not throwing shade at all, I really enjoyed BowTie's picks and loved hearing him talk about why. All I'm saying is, there's 1-2 obvious ones missing, in my opinion, and my suggestion was not to change his video but make another one. :)
I discovered you the last few days with your "top 10... 2024" and I'm quite surprised you never mentioned any track from "Ten Days" from Fred Again. The quality of production in this album is really notable ! Anyway, thank you for the tracks you made me discover ! I've been away from the "main EDM scene" for quite a long time (bored beaucause of a looooot of trends and stuff) so it's refreshing to see new artists of quality ! ❤️🔥
So glad to see Musicians of Ponyville here. After your Album video shoutout, I first listened to her album and it is soooooooo good, the whole album❤❤ I’ve been listening to it on repeat the last few days
nokae on this list is is actually so sick been following him on both aliases for a long time. stoked to see he's finally getting recognition! oh and comet was a really good ncs track asw
Nice list, artists I've almost never listened to since it's not my taste but I do appreciate good, different sounds (specifically talking about Virtual Riot). Just one thing, is house/techno not under the EDM umbrella or just not on your radar? There just seems to be a little bias in favor of bass music considering your "Top Worst" list had a little more variety in regards to genres. Do appreciate the Disclosure shout tho, one of last years greats. But can't deny this list felt more catered to Lost Lands attendees than EDC ones, sorry, shitty example, I know but EDC, imo, is the epitome of variety for an EDM festival, which for some reason I expected from this video. Regardless, love the production and detail that you put into it. Subbed.👌
Honestly, with all due respect, I think there is no contest. THE BEST ONE PERIOD is Finality by Sleepnet, one of the members of the project Noisia. THE sound design, the blissful progression, hands down the best drums in the industry and the raw power that it brings makes me grief to the fact that i'm yet to listen to it live
I think that 365 not being the XCX pick is SO criminal, tho based on listen numbers I can’t REALLY blame you. The deep dark synths into the drop is just so crazy good and hoooly cow it’s so ungodly catchy
I didn't even know Porter Robinson put out a new album this year until these videos. I listened to 2000-3000 new EDM songs this year and none were PR. Crazy how big this space is.
Vylet Pony is definitely my artist of the year. Not just for the record mentioned in this video, but also for the amazing noise rock album she released a few months after. Amazing versatility and so much emotional depth Edit: minor spelling mistake
I like some of these picks, particular the retro throwback funky house and dance pop inspired ones, but I just can't stand any of these with the the modern dubstep, future bass, and similar sounds. Just can't get behind it, lacks the sort of groove I'm looking for. Still enjoy the effort put into this list and allows me to give a listen to some types of music I wouldn't usually seek out. Thanks for putting it together!
Great video! I love your end-of-year roundups. My personal top 10 this year were: 10. Dabin, Said The Sky - In The End 9. Caravan Palace - Mirrors 8. Charli xcx - Talk Talk 7. Porter Robinson - Cheerleader 6. Zedd - No Gravity 5. Troyboi - Hibrido 4. Glacier - enfold 5. deadmau5 - Re_Jaded 4. Teminite - Stardust In The Universe 3. Skrillex, Fred Again, Four Tet, Joy Anonymous - Glow 2. Afinity - Gravity 1. Last Heroes - Wide Awake
Proof that EDM has such a wide range. Here's a list of my most listened to EDM songs for this year in no particular order. (Yeah, I am usually into the less heavier stuff but tried to bring variety, with prog house, bass house, deep house, d&b, trance, electro, techno,) And I tried not to bring duplicates. The numbers are there for you to refer to them if you heard of the song, never heard it but listened to it after and liked it or whatever. There were 4-5 songs on your list that went under my radar but I am always thankful of finding new artists through great videos like this
Nice inclusion of Jaron. I think he’s one of the most talented (and young) artists in the space. STARS has to be my favorite off of his album though, it’s just too good.
Mr. Bowtied am I out of touch? You keep putting these odd artists to your lists, like Flubernator's 'Dorple (Beyond Milky Way)' on the top 10 worst songs and Grand Zup's 'We Vlurp Together' on the Top 10 EPs list. But this list is just these intergalactic sounding artists alone. I mean who is this Martian Perboblup? Should I be aware of their discography and musical feats? Protoglorb or Dreebo don't ring a bell either. And you're acting like we all know who these are, saying stuff like "Come on, I think you guys know our favorite Keplerian." and "This Zlorb producer got the crowds of Venus all vorped up." Am I missing an entire side of the music world??
Music now is just an intergalactic meta construct of consciousness and its led entirely by Glibglord the Redeemer. I can’t believe you don’t know Protoglorb or Dreebo, they are all that exists nowadays in the modern universe of this world
great list! especially because cheerleader, neverender, tangerine rays AND Life were all my favorite tracks of their respective album, too. I'm missing a little d'n'b though, my list has some :P 1. Teminite, CADMIUM - When I Fall (incredible song, Teminite killed it this year!) 2. Wilkinson, NORTH - Balance (if I remember correctly you disliked this one badly haha) 3. Bensley, Justin Hawkes, Kumarion - Sell My Soul 4. Zeds Dead, Flux Pavilion, Deathbyroby - Waves 5. Justice, Tame Impala - Neverender 6. Porter Robsinon - Cheerleader 7. ISOKNOCK, RL Grime - SMACK TALK 8. Blanke, Rival, KC - Heaven 9. goddard., Billy Lockett - Drowning Mind 10. Camo & Crooked, Mefjus, Joe Killington - Pray For Me Honorable Mentions: -Ghost by S9, Ana Barrena, as well as Ghost by Direct -Wavedash, Anamanaguchi, Cayenne - b Alright! -Nitro Fun - World Wide Web -What So Not, Benson, Lucy Lucy - Lights Go Out -NERO - Too Many Questions -Chase & Status, Stormzy - BACKBONE
this might be the most valid list ever i’m ngl. here’s to 2025, starting with nolimit!!! 🍾 personally my top 10 would be in order: 10. ISOxo, Knock2 & RL Grime - SMACK TALK (if i could put k2 and iso on seperately i would but neither put out much super good music this year) 9. djeb (NOT PORTER ROBINSON) - cheerleader (it is a cover tho) ((please listen to it)) 8. WINK & nikko - LOOKIN FOR U (big stepper anthem for real fr) 7. pluko - I FEEL STRANGE (might be pushing the edm definition but i just love the guitar and vocals) 6. glaive - Count It Up (me likey hyperpop) 5. Eliminate - comecloser (i really love warbling leads like these) 4. wishlane & Patrick O’Neill (Student Housing) - SPIT IT OUT (me still likey hyperpop) 3. Nikita, the Wicked ft. Conrad - get my way (just awesome track, found awesome artist through it) 2. Lizdek - PUSHSTART (god damn i love this new era/type of bass) honorable mentions: Lizdek - Maniac; unreleased as of now but the full thing is basically on his mixes and it goes bonkers Kanro - Dysarthria; another epic sound design from another underdog Tanger - takemehigher; if it were lengthened it definitely would’ve made the list Gerald Liu, Naykilla - HANDZ (Behaved Remix); epic remix by an epic remixer grape milk - TATTOO GUN RAVE; fuckkkk those drum rolls on the drop are so nasty 1. fyoum - not nice (introduced me to my #1 favorite artist nowadays, also bouncy af which is always a plus)
I didn’t really bother with lists this year (mainly because i was too lazy lol) but some of the edm tracks i loved this year were, Waterflame, teminite, boomkitty - Slash Dion timmer, Chime - Defeatist Virtual riot - Believe what you want Chyl, skybreak - Euphoria Rush
@BowtiedMedia fr. I had my headphones on. I was standing outside in the backyard. Was listening to this song and a few other songs. It had been in the news that there's going to be a rain of falling stars, and I did actually see one for the first time. Also, there was a big fair a few kilometers away that had alot of flashing light/lasers, so you could see lots of dim lights in the sky as well.
my top 10 tracks of the year: 1. ISOx0, Knock2, & RL Grime - SMACK TALK 2. Avicii - Levels (Acyan Flip) 3. SUAHN - DEMOLISH/REIMAGINE/REBUILD 4. Don Toliver - Bandit (DRYDEN Edit) 5. The Prodigy- No Good (Start to Dance) [Visages Bootleg] 6. Viperactive & Marshmello - In The Cut 7. MUST DIE - Kick Back 8. Lunnari & kyva - BLUETOOTH 9. LYNY - Nobody Else 10. borne & Alexis B - Hush
Interesting list! My top 10 would be: *1. Factor B - A Gift To The Earth* [Incredibly lush trance track. It sounds like a world coming to life, it is energising, it is hopeful, it absolutely lives up to its title. Factor B is the greatest artist working in trance right now and he just keeps getting better.] *2. Purple Disco Machine - Die Maschine* [This song sounds like it could have been on Random Access Memories but is also unmistakably a PDM song. Great sample of an early dance classic. Very groovy and danceable, which then evolves in a long dreamy outro (I'm talking about the 8 minute version). The deep German spoken word throughout the song gives it a unique flavour.] *3. Worakls - Lueur* [I think Worakls might be the most talented musician in all of EDM. He makes progressive house songs with melodies that are much more interesting than what most of his peers are making, and he presents them with great sound design in which there is a wonderful interplay between very clear synths that sound almost classical and electronic distortion.] *4. Cold Blue - Mad Hatter* [Trance] *5. Solarstone - Revelation* [Trance] *6. Phuture Noize & B-Front - Tiny Pretty Lights* [Hardstyle] *7. Booka Shade - Reminiscence* [???] *8. Super8 & Tab - Flare* [Big Room Trance] *9. Sefa - Aller Vers Toi* [Frenchcore] *10. Fonzerelli - Paris By Night* [House]
15:20 I saw this track live before release in 2023 at Keepsake and Puppets concert in London! It went absolutely stupid, one of the best live experiences of my life, especially with keepsake on vocals and guitar live
I used to be a manager for an EDM artist I got him signed on NCS 2x, Revealed 3 times. Got him collabs with Rivo, Olly James, DJ BL3ND. Got him an official remix for Rain Man of Krewella. Now I mostly listen to country. The only EDM song I liked of all 2024 is Lighter by Galantis I think lol
what are you thoughts on Shining by Corolova? I am not sure if it's a flip of some older song, but if we not take that into equasion I think it has great storytelling, production and depth while also staying really danceable and fresh. Overall my favorite techno track of this year
Agree with lots of picks, but here is my top 10: 1. beastboi. - FRONT SEAT 2. Control Freak - WE RUN THIS 3. Bossfight - Decimate 4. Eliminate - thinkaboutit 5. ISOKNOCK - THRASH (PARTY STARTER) 6. RIOT - Pushkar 7. Nitepunk - Steps On You (Peep My Style) 8. No Mana, Feed Me - Hopeless 9. Dyatic, Ganined, Minara - Tree of Life 10. splitter - NERF THIS!
You should’ve uploaded amother version of this video as a prank, where you just list all 10 SMILE :D tracks and then upload this real version a day later
My favourite tracks from 2024 are: DJ THT & Ced Tecknoboy - One Last Dance (The Official Easter Rave Anthem 2024) Sunvibez, CLARI7Y - Alone Brooklyn Bounce Feat. Deso Latee & Samantha Lawrence - Love & Bass (The Official Anthem of Loco Beach) Whigfield - Saturday Night (Nick Skitz x Mindblast! x Uwaukh Remix) Brennan Heart & Jonathon Mendelsohn - Better Day.
16:21 This claim is wild. I'm all for subjectivity and, as a matter of fact, I like the song, but you have to give a listen to either Mendum - Elysium or Last heroes - Eclipse (Dimensions is also pretty good). These songs are eye openers in terms of how grandiose an EDM track can be. Hopefully you don't take offense, I just felt compelled to share my thoughts.
This video should be titled "top 10 bass music songs of 2024" or "top 10 EDM songs of 2024 American version", because these 10 songs are far from the best electronic music produced in 2024 and only Americans would rank them this high
@@OfficialIcebergMusic Any track from Mathame or Cassian, they had an amazing year Any track from deadmau5's EP, especially Input_Output Thandaza by Keinemusik And some other tracks too
#10 - God this one slaps. Virtual Riot took everything good about Fork Funeral and made it basically 10 times better. Vocal chops are nutty and the breakdown is crazy to say the least. The into even has the best transition into this song, which still uses that piano melody. #9 - This is in a style that I have not seen Nokae do in quite some time now. It's definitely a standout in his discography, that's for sure. Songs that have the bass as the main melody are inherently really cool, and KORA's vocals are nothing short of awesome. My top CHOMPO II track still goes to either Ancient Tech or TRANSFORM, though. #8 - First few impressions of Justice and man this is absolutely funky. Nothing more, nothing less. #7 - What a crazy collab. French House has never been perfected to this degree. I mean, who else but ellis to fuse his expertise in this style with Zedd to create a fantastic bop? Bea Miller's vocals are incredible, too. Another big track in ellis' discography, and the best thing that Zedd has done in a long time, and that's coming from someone who had his childhood listen to Clarity. #6 - It's simply fun to dance to. You can't go wrong with that style of dancepop. #5 - Why does this kinda remind me of a modernized version of some of Monstercat's dubstep tracks from 001 to around 010? With the chaos of Double-Edged Idol Syndrome from Exobolt 010, switching ideas constantly... I guess we can say, "welcome back, old Skrillex dubstep" #4 - It's either this or Euphoria Rush for the best song he's put out this year. Keepsake on vocals, fantastic lead on a DRUMSTEP track, and Skybreak motifs all over the off-drops. That's a recipe for success if I've ever seen one. #3 - brat aside, that bass is THICC. Billie Ellish's vocals are kinda getting stuck on my head, though... #2 - Future Bass has never sounded THIS good. Big ups to Jaron and this song. Because to be honest, Future Bass that's done this well is a rare species. Candyland blew me away with Nirvana in 2022. I fell in love witb Sunburn by DROELOE. And now this... might just be a new playlist add. #1 - I mean, it's Porter Robinson. Not much I can say except this song is an absolute bop from start to finish.
this is just why i love all your end of the year wrap-up top 10 videos, it's not like the most funny or having any super highlight moments, but all the commentary and the flow of the video really made me keep watching it, tho being as a "wrap-up", i still think these kind of videos are timeless masterpiece, and I predict that these 5 videos will be replay again and again for my 2025 Also Comet and Cheerleader at top 🤌🤌🤌
Thanks so much for the extremely kind words and exceptional endorsement of DEITY! Absolutely honored to have made the list with such heavy hitters!
Entirely deserved, congrats on the great track!

Great video series as every year. Glad Virtual Riot got a mention and I strongly agree with Cheerleader being number 1

I think that 365 not being the XCX pick is SO criminal, tho based on listen numbers I can’t REALLY blame you. The deep dark synths into the drop is just so crazy good and hoooly cow it’s so ungodly catchy
Wow I did not see that Vylet Pony selection coming in but it seems justified
When DOPE1 is an honorable mention, you know the list is stacked
I didn't even know Porter Robinson put out a new album this year until these videos. I listened to 2000-3000 new EDM songs this year and none were PR. Crazy how big this space is.
That is wild to me actually haha. I feel like Porter dominated the EDM space this year, at least the area of the space I’m actively in!
Some of my favorites I missed:
Kai Wachi - Happier By Now (ft. Lo Spirit)
Sleepnet & Lumen - Finality
Machinedrum - RISE (ft. ROZET)
Happier By Now is so good 😩
Vylet Pony is definitely my artist of the year. Not just for the record mentioned in this video, but also for the amazing noise rock album she released a few months after. Amazing versatility and so much emotional depth
Edit: minor spelling mistake
I like some of these picks, particular the retro throwback funky house and dance pop inspired ones, but I just can't stand any of these with the the modern dubstep, future bass, and similar sounds. Just can't get behind it, lacks the sort of groove I'm looking for. Still enjoy the effort put into this list and allows me to give a listen to some types of music I wouldn't usually seek out. Thanks for putting it together!
Great video! I love your end-of-year roundups. My personal top 10 this year were:
10. Dabin, Said The Sky - In The End
9. Caravan Palace - Mirrors
8. Charli xcx - Talk Talk
7. Porter Robinson - Cheerleader
6. Zedd - No Gravity
5. Troyboi - Hibrido
4. Glacier - enfold
5. deadmau5 - Re_Jaded
4. Teminite - Stardust In The Universe
3. Skrillex, Fred Again, Four Tet, Joy Anonymous - Glow
2. Afinity - Gravity
1. Last Heroes - Wide Awake
Talk talk is my next favourite to guess!
Fantastic list!!
W for re_jaded
4. Teminite - Stardust In The Universe
I swear everyone forgot about this song. It's on no one's lists.
There were 4-5 songs on your list that went under my radar but I am always thankful of finding new artists through great videos like this
Pretty solid list!!
What a BASED list all throughout
Great List! Those year end videos are getting better and better with each year. (I wanted to see re_jaded on the list tho)
cheerleader was one of my favorites as well, crazy
Yeah, while the content is definitely good it comes off as kind of unrelateable and “mainstream = bad”
Music now is just an intergalactic meta construct of consciousness and its led entirely by Glibglord the Redeemer. I can’t believe you don’t know Protoglorb or Dreebo, they are all that exists nowadays in the modern universe of this world
Dude I’ve known Nokae since at least 2021 with his collab with Zenpaku, shocked to see him here lmao
great list! especially because cheerleader, neverender, tangerine rays AND Life were all my favorite tracks of their respective album, too.
I'm missing a little d'n'b though, my list has some :P
1. Teminite, CADMIUM - When I Fall (incredible song, Teminite killed it this year!)
2. Wilkinson, NORTH - Balance (if I remember correctly you disliked this one badly haha)
3. Bensley, Justin Hawkes, Kumarion - Sell My Soul
4. Zeds Dead, Flux Pavilion, Deathbyroby - Waves
5. Justice, Tame Impala - Neverender
6. Porter Robsinon - Cheerleader
7. ISOKNOCK, RL Grime - SMACK TALK
8. Blanke, Rival, KC - Heaven
9. goddard., Billy Lockett - Drowning Mind
10. Camo & Crooked, Mefjus, Joe Killington - Pray For Me
Honorable Mentions:
-Ghost by S9, Ana Barrena, as well as Ghost by Direct
-Wavedash, Anamanaguchi, Cayenne - b Alright!
-Nitro Fun - World Wide Web
-What So Not, Benson, Lucy Lucy - Lights Go Out
-NERO - Too Many Questions
-Chase & Status, Stormzy - BACKBONE
this might be the most valid list ever i’m ngl. here’s to 2025, starting with nolimit!!! 🍾
personally my top 10 would be in order:
10. ISOxo, Knock2 & RL Grime - SMACK TALK (if i could put k2 and iso on seperately i would but neither put out much super good music this year)
9. djeb (NOT PORTER ROBINSON) - cheerleader (it is a cover tho) ((please listen to it))
8. WINK & nikko - LOOKIN FOR U (big stepper anthem for real fr)
7. pluko - I FEEL STRANGE (might be pushing the edm definition but i just love the guitar and vocals)
6. glaive - Count It Up (me likey hyperpop)
5. Eliminate - comecloser (i really love warbling leads like these)
4. wishlane & Patrick O’Neill (Student Housing) - SPIT IT OUT (me still likey hyperpop)
3. Nikita, the Wicked ft. Conrad - get my way (just awesome track, found awesome artist through it)
2. Lizdek - PUSHSTART (god damn i love this new era/type of bass)
honorable mentions:
Lizdek - Maniac; unreleased as of now but the full thing is basically on his mixes and it goes bonkers
Kanro - Dysarthria; another epic sound design from another underdog
Tanger - takemehigher; if it were lengthened it definitely would’ve made the list
Gerald Liu, Naykilla - HANDZ (Behaved Remix); epic remix by an epic remixer
grape milk - TATTOO GUN RAVE; fuckkkk those drum rolls on the drop are so nasty
1. fyoum - not nice (introduced me to my #1 favorite artist nowadays, also bouncy af which is always a plus)
I didn’t really bother with lists this year (mainly because i was too lazy lol) but some of the edm tracks i loved this year were,
Waterflame, teminite, boomkitty - Slash
Dion timmer, Chime - Defeatist
Virtual riot - Believe what you want
Chyl, skybreak - Euphoria Rush
I had no idea you were a secret KSI fan. You thought you could catch us off guard and slip in Thick of It in your HMs, but I didn't fall for it!
i listened to comet by skybreak while actually seeing a falling star
Magical.
@BowtiedMedia fr. I had my headphones on. I was standing outside in the backyard. Was listening to this song and a few other songs. It had been in the news that there's going to be a rain of falling stars, and I did actually see one for the first time. Also, there was a big fair a few kilometers away that had alot of flashing light/lasers, so you could see lots of dim lights in the sky as well.
my top 10 tracks of the year:
1. ISOx0, Knock2, & RL Grime - SMACK TALK
2. Avicii - Levels (Acyan Flip)
3. SUAHN - DEMOLISH/REIMAGINE/REBUILD
4. Don Toliver - Bandit (DRYDEN Edit)
5. The Prodigy- No Good (Start to Dance) [Visages Bootleg]
6. Viperactive & Marshmello - In The Cut
7. MUST DIE - Kick Back
8. Lunnari & kyva - BLUETOOTH
9. LYNY - Nobody Else
10. borne & Alexis B - Hush
that bluetooth track is so fucking good
@@eotrizzle its unreeeeal
Interesting list! My top 10 would be:
*1. Factor B - A Gift To The Earth*
[Incredibly lush trance track. It sounds like a world coming to life, it is energising, it is hopeful, it absolutely lives up to its title. Factor B is the greatest artist working in trance right now and he just keeps getting better.]
*2. Purple Disco Machine - Die Maschine*
[This song sounds like it could have been on Random Access Memories but is also unmistakably a PDM song. Great sample of an early dance classic. Very groovy and danceable, which then evolves in a long dreamy outro (I'm talking about the 8 minute version). The deep German spoken word throughout the song gives it a unique flavour.]
*3. Worakls - Lueur*
[I think Worakls might be the most talented musician in all of EDM. He makes progressive house songs with melodies that are much more interesting than what most of his peers are making, and he presents them with great sound design in which there is a wonderful interplay between very clear synths that sound almost classical and electronic distortion.]
*4. Cold Blue - Mad Hatter* [Trance]
*5. Solarstone - Revelation* [Trance]
*6. Phuture Noize & B-Front - Tiny Pretty Lights* [Hardstyle]
*7. Booka Shade - Reminiscence* [???]
*8. Super8 & Tab - Flare* [Big Room Trance]
*9. Sefa - Aller Vers Toi* [Frenchcore]
*10. Fonzerelli - Paris By Night* [House]
15:20 I saw this track live before release in 2023 at Keepsake and Puppets concert in London! It went absolutely stupid, one of the best live experiences of my life, especially with keepsake on vocals and guitar live
19:39 virtual riot - dino killer?
I used to be a manager for an EDM artist I got him signed on NCS 2x, Revealed 3 times. Got him collabs with Rivo, Olly James, DJ BL3ND. Got him an official remix for Rain Man of Krewella. Now I mostly listen to country. The only EDM song I liked of all 2024 is Lighter by Galantis I think lol
what are you thoughts on Shining by Corolova? I am not sure if it's a flip of some older song, but if we not take that into equasion I think it has great storytelling, production and depth while also staying really danceable and fresh. Overall my favorite techno track of this year
You should check out Electric Dad’s remix of Tangerine Rays, it’s really good! Keeps the same feel but shifts it to bass house.
Icarus at #2 , lfffgooooo
Anyone else listen to the two Eliminate albums this year?
Based Body Flicker pick
Agree with lots of picks, but here is my top 10:
1. beastboi. - FRONT SEAT
2. Control Freak - WE RUN THIS
3. Bossfight - Decimate
4. Eliminate - thinkaboutit
5. ISOKNOCK - THRASH (PARTY STARTER)
6. RIOT - Pushkar
7. Nitepunk - Steps On You (Peep My Style)
8. No Mana, Feed Me - Hopeless
9. Dyatic, Ganined, Minara - Tree of Life
10. splitter - NERF THIS!
Yo Syzy mentioned let’s go 🔥🔥🔥 23:38
Honestly vylet pony's track featured here really reminds me of the best of early virtul riot
No Caribou mention?
I really enjoyed his Honey album this year
Do you know about an artist called Kasger?
You should’ve uploaded amother version of this video as a prank, where you just list all 10 SMILE :D tracks and then upload this real version a day later
Haha I love that idea
VGR is a goat for his music as Nokae
13:31
eff it we ball: the song😂
VYLET MENTION
WE WIN
Interesting that "push" by Skrillex and hamdi was not an honorable mention. Curious to hear your thoughts on that one
My favourite tracks from 2024 are:
DJ THT & Ced Tecknoboy - One Last Dance (The Official Easter Rave Anthem 2024)
Sunvibez, CLARI7Y - Alone
Brooklyn Bounce Feat. Deso Latee & Samantha Lawrence - Love & Bass (The Official Anthem of Loco Beach)
Whigfield - Saturday Night (Nick Skitz x Mindblast! x Uwaukh Remix)
Brennan Heart & Jonathon Mendelsohn - Better Day.
I know I’m late but STEALING FIRE 🔥🔥🔥 my absolute favorite bass song of this year. Virtual Riot’s new album is fire.
Carry You by Martin Garrix is soty for me with Cheerleader
I wish salute had been given some love in this list. His album "TRUE MAGIC" was something out of this world in my opinion 🤩
Vylet Pony!? Hell yeah!!!
How much did the Thomas Bangalter helmet in the background cost?
My friend actually found it at a thrift shop and then gifted it to me! It’s clearly a custom mould and I’m quite impressed with it actually
Is it bad that I haven't heard of any of these songs even though I'm a big edm fan?
lowkey at this point screw the title of EDM songs just make it top 10 songs genre be darned
This video should be titled "top 10 bass music songs of 2024" or "top 10 EDM songs of 2024 American version", because these 10 songs are far from the best electronic music produced in 2024 and only Americans would rank them this high
Well, what would you have as your favorites?
@@OfficialIcebergMusic Any track from Mathame or Cassian, they had an amazing year
Any track from deadmau5's EP, especially Input_Output
Thandaza by Keinemusik
And some other tracks too
You look like you listen to jazz
I’d played my share of jazz
I guess we can say, "welcome back, old Skrillex dubstep"
#4 - It's either this or Euphoria Rush for the best song he's put out this year.
Justice - Woman Worldwide is one of my recent favorite albums. Definitely check it out.
Comet my beloved!! Hello Keepsake!!
this is just why i love all your end of the year wrap-up top 10 videos, it's not like the most funny or having any super highlight moments, but all the commentary and the flow of the video really made me keep watching it, tho being as a "wrap-up", i still think these kind of videos are timeless masterpiece, and I predict that these 5 videos will be replay again and again for my 2025
Also Comet and Cheerleader at top 🤌🤌🤌
Wow, super kind words, really appreciate it!
Infekt - beams at #0?
