The shift in tone was too jarring for me - from the absolutely captivating real-life to a comedic spin on the situations the characters felt themselves in, and then in the last few minutes of the film, back to where it began. All that said, the film grew on me after ruminating on it after I saw in back in September, getting higher marks than when I left the theatre. The choice of no soundtrack during the credits was a really bold choice and actually made a statement that helped me reflect on the emotional arc the lead experienced. I don’t much thought nominations when that seasons rolls around next year, but I do hope Mikey Madison gets some recognition from her peers for her performance. I have to wonder though how much exposure this film will get. NC-17 films don’t get any screen whatsoever in the mid-size market where live.
I much prefer when he's alone doing his reviews, two of them doesn't really work.
The other dude is wierd
@@wonderfulemail5551how so?
Agreed!!
Two clowns = low review ratings 😂
Snore, get it right

Wow. Sean Baker is my fav director. his films feel like documentaries. So full of humanity. I never feel the length of his films
I just came back home from watching 2 hours ago. It was a great film.
Nomadland is one of my fav character driven movies
You fellas sit through some wild .. wild! Cinema for us....i know its not always pleasant. Lol
good movie but it's all pretty surface level. I kept waiting for something extra to happen to bring it to the next level but it never came
Interesting movie, but the middle part of search for him dragged on too long without any character development.
Awesome
who's the other dude? I don't recognized him
Rubin from The Ruby Tuesday. Does some awesome anime reviews. I think they have been friends for a long time.
What's with the painted nails?
The man with the slight lisp and the painted nail? You want to know what's with that? He's probably a woker.
