When you do the inframe rebuild you should rebuild the 11.1 into a 12.7, it was very common for 11.1 engines to be rebuilt into 12.7 engines when they were due for their first overhaul.
This is the Truck that made this channel what it is today. Yea, I started with the airforce Cab over but it was Blue Collar you go in its place instead. This is the truck you had before the Law made you stay off TH-cam, and still here today.
REmount all of the air lines and light cord from the back of cab . Put them behind the head ache rack and mount the batterys on the side of the frame behind the left side of the frame . And add a deck plate to the full lenght of frame .
Barely see these in USA. In Colombia where I live now they are everywhere it’s nice to see. They also have diesel Toyota 4Runner and trucks they aren’t available in USA
I'm currently trying to get a grant for tuition through my local technical institute to begin a new regional driving journey. This would be a life changing win... I'll definitely be entering!!! BRUCE you should buy a freightliner argosy and name it blue collar 2..think about it...a guy bought one and painted it orange/black with custom built stacks and the Harley Davidson edition package..it's totally bad ass
My brother's freightliner has the same issue draining the batteries. I'm not sure if your pulls power but his does so we put a master switch on for the batteries so they can't pull power when the truck is off. It might help prolong the life of the batteries for the next guy.

Anytime you have a sound system with subs in a vehicle it will typically burn out the alternator That's typically why you see the guys run to alternators the second alternator so that way it doesn't burn out the primary alternator to the vehicle for some reason amplifiers they destroy alternators

Bruce it’s most likely the a/c clutch bearing that’s locked up because it should turn freely with out 12 volt power to it to energize the clutch.

Change oil in transmissions change all in rear axles and change fluid in the coolant and power steering new brakes wheel seals and new shocks
