This was such a nice way to decompress after work. I love the doilies that you have that your grandma made and how you resized and fixed your dad’s watch so you could wear it. That is more valuable/meaningful than any Rolex. What a beautiful home full of light, plants and lovely memories.

I helped a cousin move into her super posh apt in Boston. Amazing lobby, and rooftop! Just trendy and hip. We didn’t notice during the walkthrough that there were NO cabinets or drawers in the kitchen(ette) area! I still crack up about that.

I heard you say new england but that's like a region right? You look like you live in a big city. I love all the labelling. I tend to keep stuff in boxes because the names are usually on those. You said that you live with your boyfriend? where does he keep his things? I also living in a on bedroom apartment, but we have a den too (which is just another room thankfuly, not a corner of a room so he keeps all his stuff there) but it;s hard to find space. My makeup organization sucks, I have most of my stuff in a bookshelf in the living room.

Hi Sofia, I noticed that you have the Urban Decay Born to Run eyeshadow palette in the back of your shelf. That's the only big palette that I have ever owned. Since you're looking for new content ideas, how about a series where you revisit older products? I would love to hear if you still like and use them or not, and the reasons behind. With so many new makeup releases but only one face, sometimes it's hard to decide whether to declutter something from a previous stage of our lives and move on, or to stick with what we already have and avoid so much consumerism. I think it would be helpful for many of us to hear the thoughts of someone with a large collection to put things in perspective. Regards!

Sofia - as a fellow cat-lover, I struggle with finding beautiful furniture, particularly furniture with some kind of textile, that my cat will not turn into a scratching post. Any tips for selecting couches that will not be scratched up or the fabric snagged by tiny kitty claws? I currently have a white leather couch but I would love a more cozy fabric couch.
I hear you!! I try to look for fabrics that aren't as easy for their little claws to "pull". Even then she has clawed some of the corners because she gets upset and does it when I am away on trips. I have found that the best way to keep her from clawing the couch is rewarding her when she uses the scratching post. She knows now that when she uses the scratching post she will get lots of treats and pets and so she almost goes out of her way to "show" us her post scratching and she has completely forgotten about the couches.
I recognized the Laura Zindel immediately! I have some of her pieces, and the cicada is my favorite of hers-how cool that we both gravitated towards the insects. I am a pisces! I think that's why I love to collect pretty shiny things 😂 but my mom is a Virgo and she always taught us to be organized haha!

I know what you mean! I have had Minnie for almost 10 years and she never tries to chew the plants or destroy them UNLESS it's that one grassy looking palm tree we have. Then every so often I hear her chewing and have to shoo her away 😂
