Cancast, get a viewpoint from someone who's been there for a few years to explain to you the real picture! No doubt this job is one of the top paying jobs in Canada, but this gentleman is still veey green to be able to give you full insight of the job! Try another podcast with someone who's got at least 5-10 years in.
Absolutely true, this guy thinks that new comers dont explore these opportunities at all which is completely false. Every new immigrant explore these opportunities but truth is such domains cannot make you financial stable becoz these jobs are created just to pay 30-35 % taxes to govt and full salary pension plan he is talking about, he needs to work for atleast 35 years in public service to be eligible. With aging, do you think he will be able to continue working as conductor??
He did not reveal main reason why new punjabi immigrants are so curious to become truck driver in canada. The main reason is tax evasion through driver inc model. If he earns 7000$ per month and on other hand incorporated desi truck driver also earn 7000$, he will end up getting only around 5000$ whereas incorporated truck driver will get around 6300$ after taxes. I have seen highly paid IT professionals in canada became real estate agents on full time basis due to personal real corporation model which is also same as driver inc model. Doing 9-5 payroll job will never make you financial stable.
Paji it's shifty life style ,you are never going to ride on train .mostly you are going to work out door in -15 to -30 degree in yard just shutting trains . You will never goingbto touch the main line unless you leave the main cities and live in a small yard in a forest.
Big difference being a train driver in India vs bring a locomotive engineer in Canada. You can’t just become le in Canada you have to work as a conductor for 10-15 years first. This guy is a new trainee conductor doing podcast. First get some experience brother & stop saying you drive trains

Strike te pay?? Bro have you seen a strike yet c'mon. Last strike we didn't get a dime while standing in the cold 😂😂. And contract every year HAHA not true either. Gaap naa maar pehla seniority gain karlaa interview dhen to pehla. You'll be able to give more informed answers
I showed some local guys here in Melville they bursttt out so hard. Gill was translating. This fool sayin he drives train but i heard he’s a co trainee what an idiot
@jessyR93, Hello I wanted to let you know that your videos has inspired so many people out there to join railway. Your videos are pretty much self explanatory. But there are some questions that one of my family members wants to enquire about. We already working in Corporate sector and it’s hard to decide whether we should leave the current job and go for railway? Could you please set up anytime where we can connect and talk directly via phone or video call so that we can clarify the job role. Please let me know once you are available. Your time will be really appreciated. Thank you
