RIOT is number one once again! They are undoubtedly the best on Uncaged.
That's debatable, for example they hardly use the possibility of developing a track like infected mushroom does. But every artist has their own thing and RIOT surely makes consistently good bangers that apparently appeal to a lot of people (me included)
Infected Mushroom is one of the best in Psytrance on Monstercat, but initially Monstercat started as a label which mostly put dubstep genre out, therefore I think that Riot fits best for the Uncaged, it’s a direct analogy of what this channel is and used to be. That’s why they are winning the best of 2019 for two years already.
I fully agree that RIOT appeals to a large amount of uncaged listeners (considering their ratings in bo2018/19). I do also think bossfight is killing it though

This is one of the stronger lists in recent years, still mad that particles got disqualified and replaced by the darkness though.

a lot of songs got botted near the end, which is a shame cause other songs that spiked in votes naturally (redshift and each other) got removed

Although seeing Head of NASA instead of Guitarmass was a pleasant surprise. I know we include EP/LP exclusives, but I think this is the first time one of those made it in. Still wish Lost In Space won though.

I think they were very close in quality, I liked battlecry more because I prefer that type of music. Although I emphasise that berserker was really good

This list and mix is probably one of my most favorite Monstercat Best Of's since I started listening back in 2011. So much diversity, so many awesome artists. It's amazing how much the family has grown in almost ten years, and further reinforces why Monstercat is one of the best labels out there. Here's to 2020!
