Aww, Imperfect Views didn't make it? That song was an EDM masterpiece, there's truly no other song like it. Well, I can't complain too much because this album is composed of some pretty great tracks. Even if I voted for some songs that didn't make it, I guess I can still listen to them normally. Drytoxiccube I mean, its good, but its not that unique and you can tell Rogue didn't put all of his effort into making Nemesis. On the other hand, Imperfect Views is completely original and Rogue probably gave it his all when making that song.
I've never felt so much nostalgia as this moment... 2016 was by far the best year of my entire life and listening to this mix 5 years later only brings back all the good and wonderful memories of that year :)

I liked just about all of the tracks off of 028 and 029. The other two albums didn't have very many songs that I really liked. I agree that the ones you mentioned weren't very good.
I found out about Monstercat earlier this year and I can honestly say that it has changed my life! I just wanted to say to all of the artists and community thank you for being a huge part of my life. The experiences I've had with this community have been amazing.

And no bad songs, I literally don't know one person that liked Alone (GEtter Remix) also if you mean by expanding then this is definitely there biggest year not only over 20 new artists but they also got mainstream attention from seven Lions and marshmello
I thought BAMF was probably their best Dubstep song this year if you don't include the remix of juices. The rest I hated. I disliked nemesis but still I thought so far 028, 029 & 030 have been great or in 030 & 029s case, amazing! I just really really really really hated 027
This was definetly the best year for me. I loved EVERY TRACK! In this album mix. 2016 (since i was stupid) is where i finally understood how the album mixes work. Also. First Best of mix ive listened to. All the songs had this flow that made them all sync perfectly. Im glad to be part of this family. And im proud that Monstercat is a thing. ^^

Been here since March 2013 and continously listen to EVERY new release and was never really disappointed. This channel introduced me to electronic music. Before that I hated electronic now I'm listening almost only to it (Mainly Neurofunk, Future Bass, Bass House and Glitch Hop)

I'm actually in love with this mix. I'm actually satisfied having Gorilla Glue, Electric Heart and OK on here. I'm glad Superstar, Checkpoint and On Fire are on there (since I voted for those songs), FIGHT and Showdown as well. :) I liked the transition from FIGHT to Checkpoint, and from Rare to Tunnel Vision.

Unfortunately, they set restrictions so that only one song per artist got on excluding collabs. So only one Stonebank song could get on (trust me, I was sad too). Echoes of the Past couldn't make it either because it's from 030, which is spilling over into next year and will be a part of the Best of 2017 album. But, here's to hoping EotP makes it onto that album! :D

I'm actually in love with this mix. I'm actually satisfied having Gorilla Glue, Electric Heart and OK on here. I'm glad Superstar, Checkpoint and On Fire are on there (since I voted for those songs), FIGHT and Showdown as well. :)
I liked the transition from FIGHT to Checkpoint, and from Rare to Tunnel Vision.

Unfortunately, they set restrictions so that only one song per artist got on excluding collabs. So only one Stonebank song could get on (trust me, I was sad too). Echoes of the Past couldn't make it either because it's from 030, which is spilling over into next year and will be a part of the Best of 2017 album. But, here's to hoping EotP makes it onto that album! :D
Alone got on here because it had 50 million views and was still getting even 1 million views per day, so there was really no chance of it not making it..

Usually, I'm more addicted to the 2017 mix quite often (probably because of Dion Timmer and Notaker made it there and other new powerful artists as well), but this "Monstercat - Best of year" mix gives me a fair amount of nostalgic, having Nitro Fun, Noisestorm, Richard Caddok, Grabbitz and Hellberg. :)
