Hey everyone! :D All of us here at SonicSong182 hope you've been safe and healthy! Sonic and Tails are back again to try out Sega's new mobile app, Sonic Olympics: Tokyo 2020! The free demo section, at least. xD Also, in case anyone is wondering, production on Ask the Sonic Heroes has started up again! Things had to slow down a lot in April, but things are in place now for production to go smoothly, so the next episode is in the works right now. No news on when it'll be ready, but don't worry guys, it's coming! :) Stay safe!
What a struggle xD It was a communication issue with the instructions, though -- it said to "swipe", and usually "swiping" on a phone is a quick sort of tap and flick movement. What the game actually wanted us to do was SLIDE, maintaining fingertip contact with the phone screen for the entire motion xD It took SO LONG to figure that out! Thank you for voicing Omochao, Courtney! :D You made him sound very cute >w
Yeah! There's a free demo section of the game that lets you try it out up until the Metal Sonic boss and that cutscene with Eggman. :) People can decide from there if they want the full game or not.
Sonic totally rocked those events! (Except for the swimming one of course, but that doesn't count!) P.S. I was watching this with my big Sonic Plushie! I don't have a Tails Plushie unfortunately, but I hope to have one someday.

We would love to do more! It's challenging with social distancing though, haha! A lot of our plans got cancelled because of that, and it slowed down production on other projects too, but we've been working on figuring out some new workflows lol

Haha naw, it didn't actually take 8 hours. It was way easier once we found out exactly HOW were were supposed to be swiping lol. You have to keep your finger pressed on your phone screen the entire time, and SLIDE your finger in the direction you want to go, maintaining contact with your phone screen the whole time. Usually when an app tells you to SWIPE, you tap your screen, pull, and LET GO. To play this mini game, you just have to not let go. xD It took a lot of tries to figure that out lol
Sonic is voiced by my very good friend of 10+ years, Steve, from BalenaProductions. :) Steve has been playing Sonic since I think Fall 2019. I've been Tails in his videos for over a decade now, so it's fun to have him bringing his Sonic energy over here too!
