- Sorry for the low audio quality and random audio cutoffs, i also forgot to mention that you Don't need to take an offer from order, but you do need to take offers from all of the other shrines, I haven't got a standalone mic, so i was using my headset microphone.
These are the steps that I used in order:
Ministry rep (not going to attack you).
Etris rep (say your name).
Duke quest.
Kill duke using 2nd option.
(Kill enough dukes for bell).
Talk to all shines(take offers from all except order).
return to regent (you should have the bite your tongue option).
go to whirlpool.
get bell.
talk to yun shul and pick the "what is this place" option.
return to regent and offer to join him after you say that you know of his true nature.
Offer to join him.
Do not return to regent before killing duke, also end dialogue and grind more ministry/etris rep if you do not get the bite your tongue dialogue or else you will get softlocked from getting contractor on that slot.
Sorry for the absolutely terrible PVP gameplay, i just needed some gameplay in the background while I explained reputation
Also if the editing is bad, this is the first video I have produced and edited solo and I was using blender. So in later videos, it will get better as I improve with the software.

i did dukes first dialogue and then i did him a 2nd time not knowing that i should have clicked the 2nd dialogue instead and it still worked so don't worry if u accidentally clicked first dialogue on duke just redo him and click second dialogue
I only did duke once and I wasnt even the one to talk to him so it really doesnt matter.
ofc they change it now ive gotten contractor many times it just annoys me im softlocked for good since u cant even talk to him again

You're supposed to make a deal with every shrine EXCEPT the shrine of order.
U only need to make deals with 3 Shrines (any even order but don't)

Yh, ive seen some people in bug reports who said that they just got neutral ministry rep but couldn't get it. I'd rather ppl get higher than the requirements and 100% get it than ppl just getting where they need to and maybe not get it.

left trial (lvl 9 btw cuz of adret + autodidact)
Etris rep cuz i had to buy stuff to level up anyway like manuals and shadow hunter
Ministry no longer sees you as an enemy
duke quest
level 18 (which with 1 echo upgrade for knowledge and 1 duke this gets you to 20 knowledge)
bite your tongue dialogue
make a deal with all shrines except shrine of order
unlock bell
go to yun shul and get the dialogue thing
get the oath
All these oaths are cool and all, they're based on main stats, and they force your build to resolve around that stat, but what about the stat called sanity, what if there will be an oath that resolves around you getting Insane, something like "Mindchaser", would be cool to see in game or at least hear a theory, i hope somebody see's this or even puts it in suggestion channels in the official deepwoken server(don't have access to it)
They're based on attributes, not stats.

1.have level 7 talk to imel take her quest
and go to lower erisia and get 13 grips - every 1 grip go back to imel - (imel is located at the big statue near etris gate and lower gate)
after your 12 grips go to etris and gain max etris rep
3.make a deal with all shrines (except shrine of order) - must have 20
knowledge
after you get max rep with mini and etrea level up to 16 and
start doing duke
complete the lord regent quest and kill duke then after doing duke
do duke again and choose the second dialouge. after u have kiled duke
go back to lord regent and tell him u have slain duke.
go to depths unlock your resonance and go back to lord regent
when u have gotten your oath go to depths and now grip 10 people
that have an oath in the depths. then escape depths talk to
lord regent and claim your mantras

You missed a step, after gaining resonance you must talk to yun shul with the special diologue.

I made a shrine of order build and tried getting contractor, but it doesn't seem like I have enough knowledge for every shrine. I got 3 total. (Shrine of order, Blasphemy, and mintrysia). Any ideas on how I can fix my build, or make a shrine of order contractor build? (I have 1 knowledge left at power 20)
You can get knowledge from killing bosses eg: lvling up to power 20 gives 19, killing bosees for the first time gives 1 and you can trade layer 2 medallions for knowledge, I'm pretty sure.
I just went to layer 2 floor 2 to obtain more knowledge I don’t think there is any other way

okay there is a requirement no one speaks about, according to my friend (ex mod) he said that its because im a voidwalker and when i asked if deepbound is okay he said no, only castaway and bite your tongue dialogue is NOT necessary (he got it without the dialogue)
Yun shul dialogue actually unlocks the contractor dialogue option, its just that you need the requirements for bite your tongue, as looking through bug reports ppl have talked to yun shul but not gotten the contractor dialogue if they didn't get the bite your tongue dialogue. But about not being able to get it as voidwalker, ill need to test, i have a voidwalker oathless, which ill remove at yun shul and try to get contractor on.
my fault , voidwalker is fine turns out he was wrong as i was watching contractor vids some of them were voidwalkers another thing ive been doing wrong is ignoring shrine of order (i tought shrines were used to unlock the yunshul dialogue) snce i get it without speaking to him

No intelligence req, but you need knowledge, 19 from leveling up + 1 from duke

You do not need to take a deal from shrine of order, just speaking to it should be good enough. But you need to make deals with every other shrine.

I honestly haven't tried and idk if anyone else has? I wouldn't recommend it though just incase it doesn't work.

You dont actually need 20 knowledge as there is a shrine at miners landing ( in the voidzone) called the shrie of conceit to unburn something and it only costs 1 knowledge so u actually only need 16 knowledge and i did test this on like 3 contractor slots it works

It should appear if you go to yun shul, instead of just having end dialogue, it should have 2 options.

I talked to lord regent after getting neutral ministry rep and defeating duke but I didnt get the bite your tongue dialogue and he killed me, can I still get it? what did I do wrong? He only killed me once.
If lord regent kills you at all you become permanently softlocked, you might have needed more rep with etris/ministry I would recommend 1 or 2 contracts higher than neutral.

No, you need knowledge, its the small orange thing above notes.
And the amount you need is 20, you can gain knowledge from leveling up and killing bosses for the first time as well as other miscellaneous tasks.

Depends if you are a voidwalker/fugitive i think about 5/6 should be enough to get neutral but do 2 more after neutral just in case.

Tallent effect, i haven't used a modifier on it, but to do an acctual extra attack on dark blade all you need to do is add a tornado spark to your dark blade.

If you ever do not get the bite your tongue dialogue again, you need to end the dialogue and not speak to lord regent until you do 1 or 2 more ministry contracts and more etris quests, then reattempt duke. If you continue talking to him, he will kill you and you will be permanently softlocked.
So in short, you will need to wipe that build.

You can, shrine of blasphemy has a better use at max level, it rerolls a random flaw for another.
If ur max level you can roll simple which is literally a free flaw.

I would always get the rep first anyways, but I think you can talk to the shrines first, but ill still get the rep first as it is confirmed to work.

You should be fine doing half then rep then other half, just dont take a deal from order

PLS HELP. MY BUILD HAS 45AGE. I DID GOT NEUTRAL AND EVEN SOME MORE GOOD REP. I HAVE MAX REP ( GUARDS WAVE ONES HAND)I DEFEATED AND BITE TONGUE AND I DID ALL THE SHRINES (I WAS HAVEN 21 KNOWLEDGE AND ITS 1) I TALKED WITH YUNSHUL. BUT..... here’s my current dilemma:
1) murder duke before doing any of the other steps cuz im stupid
2) say fuck it and progress anyway
3) get ministry rep to the point where they don’t want my balls and get max etris rep
4) do the actual quest line for duke but right before setting off to kill him, accidentally talked to regent again and saw the dialogue option in which he steals ur balls
5) ignore the option and go kill duke twice clicking both dialogue options
6) return to regent not realising that the special dialogue replaces the dialogue in which you die
7) die
8) depression
do I have to wipe? Or is there a way to fix it
