From the perspective of a player that's only been on for about 2 weeks and has learnt mostly solo. This stuff is kinda crazy, watching you do it. Going through the "hardest" content, or in this case, end game content at the fastest possible speed. I've only gotten one character to level 20 so far, and i'm working on the second, haven't beat trial of one, and only a few days ago was I able to start soloing duke. while he is in shield phase hope he uses strong left and you can m1 trade do your best to dodge and parry after shield phase basically just put him in a corner and spam crits m1s and mantras
@@savageclasher1014 Ngl I can't give great advice, seeing as i'm a freshie. But a good start would br not fighting him until you're like, level 14 or higher. If you were able to beat him at all at 10, you'll have no issue then. And if you aren't fighting Duke solo and still winning while underleveled, you might be cracked. I lose to him solo sometimes when im on level, where he has his lowest hp value at 15,000. Keep in mind he gets an extra 15k per player. @savageclasher1014 And one last thing to note, if you use heavy weapons, especially axes or hammers: Break his shield, 2 m1s, and then do a critical. No mantra needed, just stunlock him with the combo until he dies, if you're aggressive and high damaging enough, you can down him without him even summoning.

You cant use enchant stones in layer 2 regardless, so dw about missing out on sear. You’d have to exit layer 2 and use the stone then run chaser again to get to ethiron with it
@@johnnodwarf1201 after killing chaser, you go into the l2f2 thing where chaser dies and makes the hole/portal. While the lighthook is sending you down, you can use enchant stones because it's marked the completion of the layer for a moment.

the build stats are essentially starting with the gale/frostdraw attunements but prioritizing gale to spawn with gale kata (6 gale, 5 frostdraw) good mantras to aim for are tornado, gale punch, gale trap, warden blades/frozen servants for the best single target damage get 75 heavy weapon and 20 willpower during trial of one and just spam ankle weights after killing, dodging something or just as much as possible. thats it this build is very mid and is only used to speedrun this boss efficiently lol
u can probs do this better (not meant to criticise i cant do this my self) Vow of throns (extra power in less time) banking a full dvm set with astral evansper getting tornado instead of gale trap and punch visiting the shrine of mastery and putting all your traits into songchant/prof (ur using destined for speed but this may slow u donw its 1 knowledge per not bad) u can probs get sub 50 from this
Props to you but it's really not that hard. I understand that you're speedrunning but I've beaten Ethiron level 12 with a battle axe casually before I even had CoP on my account. No hate but you should definitely better at dodging and parrying his attacks. I might try this run out myself seeing this.
this was recorded quite a while ago so i was definitely worse at the game, if you try it now adays you can level up a lot easier and faster and skip floor 1 entirely via the puzzle room
you cant equip items from chaser or ethirion unless you beat the floor, if they got evanspear during chaser they could have beat chaser then equip the evanspear before they went to ethiron.

Hmmm i just got ganged on by 2 megalodaunts in garden place and then was like what could go wrong if i equip ring of curses in depths suprisingly i cant solo 4 threshers 2 lionfish and megalodaunt ye i suck it was prob 10 hours of playtime but best run so far

once you get one from floor 1, you just need to complete it to equip stuff
