I don't subscribe to the 'cheaters will always be cheaters' argument. Years after I got married to my now-wife of over 50 years, she told me up front that she had other 'lovers'. For a time, she was banging all of us. When we got serious, she told both of her 'friends', in my presence, that she and I were exclusive. One accepted that right away and she never heard from him again. The other kept after her until I threatened to tell his wife. She has never cheated on me nor I have I cheated on her.
She was in an abusive relationship. She was looking for happiness. My daughter was in an abusive relationship. She strayed. She knew it was wrong. It lasted 2 weeks. She divorced her husband. And found i nice guy and has been married for long time and still happy. Situations force actions unintended. Rachel was lucky she found a good guy she fell in love with. Battered women don't know how to leave an abusive relationship. They feel powerless and intimidated. When events like this happens, its the only way she could get out. Without her boyfriends help, she would be stuck in hell. She didn't know how to get out. She just knew she found love and happiness. She didn't say anything because she did not want to lose the love and joy she found. Her boyfriend will come around. I will finally see she is genuine
Nothing justifies cheating and lying. She should have told him the truth in the first place and should have filed for divorce but preferred lying. Her ex is the real victim here.
@@alexr6470 if she really was a victim of DV i can see why she lied. Most guys would steer clear of a married woman with a violent abusive husband. Too much baggage and risk of getting shot/stabbed. She was scared of losing a man who actually treated her right.
@@alexr6470 Are you kidding me? Her ex- is the real victim here? Real men don't resort to physical violence, especially against a woman, who is probably a lot smaller. As far as the cheating and lying, there are only two people who know the truth about the situation, and it isn't me or you. As a former victim of spousal abuse (yes, men can be abused by women), I can identify with Rachel looking elsewhere for comfort, closeness, love, and sexual fulfilment.
If her husband was abusive, she wouldn't be going out on girls nights. She never had sex with her husband, while she was cheating. I believed her husband struck her in anger....no excise to hit his wife. But infidelity can do that to a man who os broken. His broken angry heart didn't help his cause. She is a liar and a cheat.
Oh boy, have I got a bridge to sell OP! She slapped herself in his room. I've never seen a slap take hours to show up. I wonder how long before she gets bored and he becomes "aßusive". Not only is it his turn with her now, but he will have his turn in jail 🤡
She could have left the relationship and sought perfessional help. There is absolutley no excuse for getting into a physical relationship while a person is still married. The woman is a cheater and a liar. This guy is a complete idiot.
OP once a cheater. If she will cheat on her husband she will cheat on you.
exactly right!! Once a cheater always a cheater. OP needs to kick her out immediately
Cheaters will always be cheaters. This guy accepted cheating and sooner or later will face the consequences
Fortunately, I think he knows that. I guess he'll find out.
