Hi...I am a 42 year old doctor and a mother of two. Though I already had my hands full with family and full time job, lately I was feeling that I wasn't accomplishing anything for myself. So I got myself registered for a upgrading exam and that brought me to your video..how I can manage everything in my day.
I would definitely follow two tactics...first physically keep away my phone while I am studying as that really disturbs me a lot and planning a highlight for my day so that even if I do only that thing ..I can go to sleep satisfied and wake up motivated.
    Thanks again for this video.

I loved all the sections. But the last one, where you said to get disconnected is the most wonderful. This phase disconnects with works and connects you with your self. An introspection phase. Thank you ankita. Keep smiling😊

I came back to this video just to tell you that physically seperating my work space and relaxing area made such a difference, even planning the day the night before was an amazing suggestion I am trying ti implement. It was the smallest of changes I wonder why I didnt realise much earlier. Thank you!!

It is amazing to see you emanate so much positivity . I have been on a quest to follow an organised lifestyle but in vain. From henceforth I will mark the highlight of the next day before I go to sleep . I also feel drained when i sit to study . I will definetly try and implement the high-energy timings to do my work instead of loitering around .

Loved the segment on “How to disconnect”, for most of the time I don’t really disconnect well and keep thinking of things like work while even trying to sleep, which leads to lack of sleep and additional stress. Let me just “disconnect” well and rest better. 😊😊

To let you know Ankita , I am a medical student & I struggle with my habit of procrastination and cannot keep myself going until I feel pressurized by the exams / submissions / clinical work & also, the obvious distractions that you talked about come in my way a lot ! So I would definitely take away your tips of planning the next day before going to bed and the elimination of distractions.
This video of yours worked as a gentle & important reminder to improvise ourselves just by making a few changes in our habits & staying committed to them . Thank you very much for this one . Lots of Love from Gujarat & keep going 💖💖

This is such a helpful video..! Not many youtubers talk about this subject. Everybody organizes their home, kitchen, wardrobe and everything, but our life and each day of life is such a mess🙆 which needs to be taken care of. Thank you for taking up this topic. I really appreciate the idea of changing location as we switch off from the work. Our post-work time should be well spent in the living room / balcony. 😊

    Really helpful video!
Time Blocking has helped me to draw the line between working from home and my personal time for other works , I allocate time for cooking & cleaning etc. This way I feel better organized and focused. I take one task at a time and try to complete till I am done with the other works also which are associated with the task. For example,
if I have alloted time for cooking, I would clean the utensils simultaneously so that all the kitchen related work gets completed during the same blocked time. Only then I move to another task. This makes me more focused.

You have no idea how much this will help every one. Thank you for making this video. It has certainly intrigued my intellectual self.
Personally for me the time blocking factor was a real help. As a mother to a toddler I sieve in my work (I am an Academician) as per my toddlers sleep schedule. The challenge for me is that i feel so drained by all the running around at home that when my child is asleep I tend to sleep with him 😴.. Therefore time blocking will be of great help. Once again thank you for making this video.

As soon as your video notification comes the very first thing I do is to like the video first and then watch it. Your words are so sound and your way of talking is itself so soothing that it makes me realizes all the important things (which had slipped off my mind) which I had learnt from your earlier videos. The biggest reason of watching you is that you have become my inspiration and I love you as a person. I so want to become like u which I know that one day I'll become in shaa Allah.
Coming to the things which I liked about you is the thing again which I had learnt from your previous videos that is 1) Since we are energized and fresh in mornings so finish all those tasks which requires brains in morning itself 2) Utilize the time before sleeping in planning your next day and read something helpful rather using the phone
I'd like to tell you that I have even started following this in my routine and would strive to make my day more productive as that of yours :)
    May Allah bless you.

I am an IT Professional and my job requires me to be available in US Timezone sometimes and during this lockdown I have stopped disconnecting from my work . Even when I am not needed in that timezone, I keep checking mails in my laptop and do some work which otherwise I might have done after going to office the next day, or logging in the next day. this has really become a bad habit and has changed my evening routine. I am definitely going to try disconnecting from work ritual by taking inputs from your video and make a physical ritual so that over the time , my brain is accustomed to that. Thanks for these lovely content. It really makes a difference to viewers like me.

Thank you for doing this video. I've loved watching your videos. Three key takeway points that personally I can adpot are: have a physical work place that is distinct, do an activity that signals the end of the workday, and most importantly, get a planner to plan the days much more effectively. Once again, thank you for this lovely video!
PS: Daily highlights and the matrix was very useful. I haven't thought about tasks in these categories.

I agree with the concept of sorting tasks according to the Eisenhower Matrix ....I kept my to-do list sometimes so long that I end up feeling disoriented by the end of the day.....this is a good suggestion to sort work

I think what you explained about power hours makes a lot of sense to me. I recently finished my college and had been a "night owl" all my student life too but, currently i just feel so lethargic at nights and unproductive. All I do is scroll aimlessly on social media which leads to future more sleep issues and irritable mornings. I'll definitely try to find my peak productive hours and plan accordingly. Thank you so much. ❤️🌼

The tip about 'Time blocking' really clicked with me. I suck at multitasking but used to do it hoping that I'd get better eventually. It turns out, multitasking is not all that great afterall. I still didn't have much success at concentrating on only one task at a time since I started working from home. I've seen other videos that mentioned allocating different times for various tasks, I even made a plan in my journal but none of that seemed to really work.
Seeing a pictorial representation of the time blocking technique really helped me understand the concept and how I can implement it in my day. Can't wait to implement that! Figuring out my peak productivity time is going to be a challenge though 😂
Thank you so much for the well planned and easy to understand video !!! Much love ♥️

Finding your peak productive hours, this is for sure i am going to try. I am definitely a night owl. Prioritizing the important work to the peak hour is really important.

I loved your suggestions on identifying peak active hours, as mostly when we sit down to work and we don't have energy but time, we tend to take longer to achieve the task which could have been done in lesser time!
Also I am a firm practicioner of different spaces or zones for work and rest and was glad to see someone like you following the same!
Loved your suggestion on the important v/s urgent matrix and I'm definitely going to incorporate that in my routine!
    Love you loads! 💛💛💛

I think the 3rd one is very much useful... Avoiding distractions especially mobile phones is very crucial step to be taken to concentrate on the work and get done with the work fast

I love this! This couldn't have come in at a better time! I have been working from home since March and even though I thought I will love it, being in the writing field and not being keen on human interactions much, however, the days do tend to blend together after the initial euphoria melts away! Recently my workforce went100% remote permanently, which means I will be home a lot! I am still trying to work out a routine which sticks to me and will be love to have a 5am morning routine at some point. I work best in the morning hours and like to get the most of the writing done before the world wakes up. I love your videos so much! Keep doing what you are doing!

I loved the idea of "setting a daily highlight". It's the one factor that can decide the coury of your day. I used to do mediation earlier, slowly other things took priority and then I let it slide. This particular point had helped me understand that it was the highlight of my day which gave me that ultimate satisfaction and also it made my better.
    Thank you so much..!!

Thank you so much for this video! Its so motivating ! I want to select highlight for the day as u suggested and change that work zone of mine from bed.. As I am always in bed with my laptop. Looking forward to change the position after completing work considering it to be a sacred place for resting. Thanks alot for the video.

Wow.. Just wow.. You know during this quarantine, being productive almost got on trend.. I feel like it's not important to do 100 works and forget your peace of mind.. And take a pressure of it.. All you need is a purpose and work towards it..It's so liberating that you have made this video.. It's just so important for this time.. I love you for this.. You are amazing❤

Being a student, my biggest bump to productivity is my phone.
Keeping off the device in some other room, is what I am planning to do.
Loads of love to you ❤️

Ankita I just loved the introduction to this video. Yes, every day may not be super productive but every day should be satisfying! I’d really love to try the “disconnect “ part. I’m a doctor and doing my post doctoral so every night I’d be in bed with my books or laptop or thesis work, so it’s like one work day merging into another. A physical disconnect would really help I believe! Thank you for this video!

This is something I was been struggling with! Like you said, it's been like living at work instead of working from home. Being said that, I am definitely going to make a physical ritual/routine that marks the end of work day. I feel this will really help me balance between my personal and professional life.
Thank you for this video, this is really helpful! :)
