I really enjoyed this. When you put a piece of white napkin along the edge, did you do more than one area? And why did you do this? Thanks.

Thank you for your kind words! I think you're referring to the moment in the video around the 6-minute mark, where I added a small white piece of napkin with blue speckles along the edge. If so, I did this because the napkin had those tiny blue spots, and I thought it would look nice to place some of them on the shell in the white areas between the larger images. It helped balance the design and added a bit of extra detail.
I hope this answers your question! If I misunderstood or you meant something else, please let me know-I'd be happy to help. 😊

Is there something I can use to fill in the indentations, small crevices, or blemishes to make the inside of the scallop smoother before I decoupage it?

I've never needed to fill in crevices myself, so I don't have firsthand advice, but you could try spackle, air-dry clay, or epoxy putty. Apply a thin layer, and once it’s fully dry, gently smooth it out with fine-grit sandpaper (around 220 grit). I hope one of these suggestions works for you!

ThANKS SO MUCH. I'll get some today. Someone else suggested wood putty. Any thoughts on this?

You are very welcome. Wood putty could also work. It might be a bit denser than spackle. If you have any of these materials handy, I'd try that one first before purchasing something new. Let me know how it turns out - happy crafting! 🙂

Lovely! Are they waterproof? Can they be washed?

You could make them waterproof by using a different sealer but I only used Mod Podge so these are not waterproof.
