Stay was written by Jungkook and he wrote this song for his future mixtape but once V heard the song he encouraged Jungkook that it would fit better with their latest album BE. Jungkook is really talented you should definitely listen to Jungkook's solo work like My Time, Euphoria and Begin
Poor Tae and jk, every time they write songs for their mixtapes, they get talked into putting them on albums, or they get used for OSTs. And we keep waiting patiently for their their tapes. We may have a very long wait ! But as long as we get the songs, I don’t care how we get them.

It wasnt originally planned to be in the album. At this time Jungkook is preparing his own solo mixtape. The guys heard this song and thought it would be perfect for the album. So even though they already had worked on the other song they replaced it with this one.
I love how flexible they are as long as they provide good music. I’m sure it wasn’t easy to start over with a new song but they want to give quality and it shows. Also I am so proud of JK for making such great beats!

This is what's referred to as a subunit song, where 2 or more members collaborate on a track that does not involve every member. Usually in albums we will get 1 or 2 subunit songs, and if it's a full length album, we usually get solo songs for every member as well as subunit songs.

Suga, and RM, do most of the mixing.... They did most the writing as well Now V, wrote Blue and Grey, he as also writing scores for Movies and more. J-Hope has written his own album. JK, wrote Stay Gold,
So much wrong info in this..first mixing is done by producers and most of bts songs are produced by pdogg and their in house producers second jk didn't wrote stay gold he wrote your eyes tell, My time, stay and now film out too
