i am 43yo and i am a fan of this boys.. imagine i am cooking at the kitchen and banging UGH Hahahahaha.. I really appreciate thier artistry.. Thats how good they are ..thank you for reacting to BTS music
I think because they're dancers they stick to the beat pretty well. j-hope is especially known for his musicality. Suga sometimes sacrifices staying on beat to show more emotion and Joon sometimes is a little more non-trad with flows because his lyrics are of paramount importance. I don't think j-hope could fall out of pocket if he tried because the beat is in his bones so his flow is always superior. But yeah, because they're working as a unit and have to be really conscious of the beat, I think they all really naturally stay in time well. Also, I think since you're a producer, studio versions of some songs help. Ugh!'s production is really good and there are a lot of really interesting subtleties that you obviously don't get to hear as well in the live performances. The rap line song Tear is a great example where the production is next-level--it's almost more like a movie score with gorgeous orchestral rises and falls which you miss in the live. BUT, that being said, the live of Tear is iconic so ARMYs will recommend it every time (as we should). So maybe there's a way you can do both? The studio version then the live?
This is a really meaningful song. In this song they talk about the unnecessary anger people hold against each other and them as well. This is the best reply to all those who still hate on them without any reason. Too proud of them 💜

Putting a BTS playlist on shuffle is a sure way to get whiplash. Go from emotional ballads to hard rap to a fun dance track lol. Yoongi is pretty famous for playing with his voice when he raps. The rap line's understanding of rhythm is very advanced, and is aides by Hobi, who was a street dancer before becoming a rapper, so he raps like he dances. Crazy subdivisions and rhythm.
The fact that they rap on beat is so amazing. Cause you’re right a lot of people now just rap and it’s not on beat so it sounds messy. They sound so clean while also making the performance unique from the studio recording.
