I think you did awesome!! Got a good sense of line choice (race lines)Cool video. My only suggestion is to race brake instead of comfort brake. Race braking -brake before corners Comfort braking-dragging rear brake through corner. I am no expert (I do race cat-1) but seems like the keyboard racers have it all figured for you. 😂. Also @11:43. Why didn’t you just go straight through the guts? Woulda been faster. Let that suspension run. Aaaaaand. You want to use all your suspension. Bottoming out isn’t a bad thing. When you start adding psi you’re chasing the dragon. Then you have to fiddle with compression and rebound.
Hey that was pretty interesting and fun to watch! Good on you for working on improving your riding without taking it too seriously. Looking forward to future adventures!
You’d save a lot of time, and arm pump if you paid more attention to your safety braking. I’m a bit of a time guy myself, and just braking prior to a corner, and prior to hitting tech as opposed to during takes heaps of time off. It also lets your suspension do its thing, with the brakes on the suspension doesn’t articulate to its full capacity. Good job on the second run though, it was definitely smoother.
Rolled through Albuqueque in April, talked to the bike shop and they recommended riding a loop over in Cedro and Coyote... looking at this, I will DEFINITELY hit this trail omw back through in a few weeks.
Yes go do it!! Get ready for a rowdy time! I also did post a video doing the blue downhill trail too which is amazing and a lot longer than this trail. Cedro and coyote are awesome, but definitely more trail riding than enduro style - we have so much diversity in our mountains!
