I’m usually unimpressed by this songs’ many covers and thought Louis’s version can’t be matched. As I’m watching the end of season 6 of Bosch I’m glad to have run into this gem. Fitting tempo, jazzy bluesy voice of mark knopfler that’s perfect for this. I’ll be listening to this version every now and then.
Watched Bosch end titles over and over after i was absolutely struck by this version, no joy. Followed thread of the vocal and guitar through my humble memory of musicians. The Knoffler inflections especially after he switched to strat had me. Finally googled knoffler and "wonderful world", and got here.
