Always loved toy buses as a child. My favourite was Dinky 289 with spun wheels on route 221. This Corgi version was similar, it captures the Routemaster quite well. I restored an original Corgi and Dinky but I don't go heavy on the silver touches. Did a couple of original Dinky Atlanteans. Very nice restoration, love these projects.
Thank you. I haven't been able to do much lately because of commitments, but i hope to start on the Ford Thames campervan really soon. Hopefully you will look out for the completed restoration. 👍
Hey, I just discovered your channel. Very cool content. I love the double decker bus facelift you did here. You're very skilled at this. Thumbs up. We share the same hobby. I just started doing makeovers on my new channel. Mostly 1:64 stuff. I'm always looking for ideas, tips and tricks to improve my own skills. New subscriber. I'll be checking out your other uploads too. Greetings from Switzerland. Be safe, brother.
Thank you. I didn't realize i could do it untill about 6 weeks ago because of lockdown, but i have enjoyed doing the restorations very much. I shall subscribe to your channel. 👍
I bought that same bus in that same condition at a thrift store for 99 cents. I am not going to restore it- I will leave it in that same decrepit condition and just say that it went through a bad neighborhood.
