Here she was simply acting on info she got from an old and highly trusted source, which told her RImuru is trying to pass off as a Japanese and that he killed Shizu(obviously everyone can deduce who this source is based on this) and also the fact shes the Hero of the Church who have a clear Anti-Monster law so killing powerful monsters is just normal for her. Later on she does reflect on the fact she gets too easily swept up in things and makes rash decisions like not hearing out Rimuru properly when they first met.

When Rimiru absorbed the Orc Disaster and fused starved with predator to form gluttony he gained the ability to project his own skills onto others. I think this is essentially what he did here when he made the doppelganger. Though I may be wrong.
Honestly if this is what happens when he awakens gluttony, I’m excited to see if he ever decides to awaken the evolved version of the skill

I feel like the running away scene was portrayed a bit poorly in this scene, since Hinata would've noticed if he was hiding in a bush. In the light novel, he just runs away and doesn't look back on the fight except through the eyes of the doppelganger. Also, sadge I have to wait a week for Super Saiyan Rimiru (won't/don't say why).
Yeah I thought the same, and the whole interaction with Ranga just seconds after Hinata walked away seemed out of place

I have only been following the anime, and while spoilers don't bother me much thanks for the consideration!
One thing I will say though, the moment in this episode when Rimuru fully grasps what just happened in his town and Myulan's role in it, right before he manages to calm down, that was the face of death. Got chills from the way he looked at her for a second.

This series won't last that long, these things right go about 3-4 seasons if good. It has to be a break out hit to last longer. They added filler when the actual story ended years ago, you know this ain't last long.

Well... as a Light Novel reader I can say she could obliterate Rimuru even without the barrier. She was being extra careful, but Rimuru made the right choice not trying to fight her.

Yeah after he becomes a true demon lord and becomes over 10 times stronger with massively improved abilities by a massive amount thanks to his own buff and the buff to everyone he named and the newer more powerful subordinates it becomes a closer fight that even still almost killed him
For those of you that don’t know, Disintegration is actually one of the most OP attack in the whole series! I’m happy they put so much work into animating it lol.

Disintegration is the strongest holy magic attack, and it’s capable of killing or doing massive damage to anyone if it hits, even True Demon Lords. I can’t wait to see Shuna using it lol

The sound engineer that worked on these episodes is stellar, seriously! I love listening to this on the surround sound. The story is amazing on it's own, then the sound and music hit! Brilliant!
The sound effects on this anime are really amazing just like Fire force it fits the action scenes soooo well

Japanese accent, they can only say "di-su-n-..." Which would sound as you say dis-in..

I wanna see a rematch, or at least seeing how the fight would playout if Rimuru wasn't being weakened by her barrier.
Even without the weakening barrier, she still stomps Rimuru. Currently, Hinata full power is a match for Demon Lord Rimuru.
As cool as this was, i can help but feel the gluttony form was wasted. the peak of his shapeshiping, skill stealing ability, and it performs a simgle claw strike before being destroyed. i hope it comes back at some later date.
